Suppose you have reached critical mass where you don't have to work anymore.

How much capital are you willing to lock up for Perpetual hobbying ?

Is an AFT or set of providers that you see every month worth locking up 400K or more of capital to generate interest income to see her ?

400K in today's money market rates generates about $1600 of interest every month.

Would you do it ?

I don't lock up money specifically for hobbying. I see what I make now, and I want to lock up money to have the same spending money. I don't want a richer life when I am older. Nor do I want a poorer life when I am younger. The goal is to try my best to save and invest at a rate that keeps my living style equal, as well as all expenses that come with it. So not looking to increase my hobby life, nor decrease it.

is enough to cover my pussy-habit and all living expenses, I will be retiring in a few years and setting aside 30 years' worth of my monthly salary to cover everything, including my hobbying.  The only thing that will be separate is a health care savings account to cover unforeseen or elective medical procedures that may not be covered by my insurance policies.  Most older people who get in financial trouble later in life are the ones who underestimate extraordinary medical costs that exceed usual expectations.

but whatever.

I just look at what income I generate from my inventments and decide how to allocate that income to various things in my life. Plus. that 1600/month you're looking at only amounts to about 360 a weeks so I suppose you're thinking once a week limits.

I'm going to piss some people off with this, but then again, I'm good at that....

I've been retired since 2017....I still work selective ad hoc projects but my time is mostly my own....I volunteer at an animal shelter and have been considering learning sign language both to cope with my own worsening hearing loss, and to work with deaf kids.  Being completely free of any other obligation I have more than enough money to last me at the rest of my life, so long as I don't go nuts and become profligate.  The issue for me is not how much money to spend, but how much TIME.  A 2 hour session with a provider actually entails a lot more time when you factor everything in....I'd feel that time is better spent on less self-absorbed things.

That said, when I decided to get back into "this", the first thing that actually bothered me is this absurd euphemism...."Hobbying"....I was like "WTF?  Hobby?  Paying women for sexual & personal intimacy is a "hobby"?   Baseball cards are a hobby, chess is a hobby, photography is a hobby.....I enjoy my hobbies but I can live without them if I have to;  sex & intimacy is not a hobby, it's a human need.   When you go too long without them, your life becomes more empty and your actual mental & physical health can be in danger....depression, physical problems etc.  But I also don't look at provider's like I do Potato Chips....one is never enough etc

I prefer terms like Transactional companionship, or even "perpetual provider procurement";  hell, as a Teen who experienced the life changing moment of watching "RISKY BUSINESS" in 1983, the term "Human Fulfillment" is my all time favorite euphemism for "this"....by the way, my favorite character from Risky Business was "miles" (Curtis Armstrong), the one who went to Harvard lol   He coolly lights his pipe and tells Tom Cruise, "I don't have to pay for it...."        Sadly, that line never worked for me.

But I think your reasons for objecting to it (as I do) are spot on.

My $ would last long time if I have a set budget. I don’t need to pay to hobby because women love me & are naturally attracted to my divine female energy. Smile for me! 💋

Should we expect the correction of "I" soon? I hate when I try to fix one thing and then mess the fix up as well.
