I'm man enough to tell you via the wonderful world of an alias that I got Chlamydia from a girlfriend.  Not from oral but from good old-fashioned bareback sex.  I got treated and then she gave it back to me again (the ping pong effect of STD).  Catching it was how I found out she had started seeing someone else!  So your fears aren't entirely unfounded about bringing home an unwelcome visitor.  Chlamydia, btw, is becoming somewhat of an epidemic.  Men get a discharge that's easy to detect, women may have no symptoms, but can suffer reproductive damage if left untreated long-term.

Never got anything from a provider.  Biggest risk IMHO from DATY is herpes (or as I call it, Huntington Beach acne) rather than HIV.  You can get herpes around the mouth area from someone having an oubreak, and a woman could easily be unaware of a mild outbreak would.  I don't know how common this is, just that it's possible.  

HIV, which is a very weak virus is easily killed by digestive tract and is also present in much lower concentrations in vaginal fluid than semen.

i've dined on countless women, over the years, and i've never had any type of STD. i've also had a fair number of bbbjs from providers, and other strangers. i'll keep my fingers crossed.

I don't think you will get an honest answer here, even with the anonyminity. I was reading the post about TS reviews and it got me thinking. In this day and age, you really cannot know what people's sexual preferences ( especially since many have multiple preferences) are by just looking at them or even seeing there actions. We have become sexually liberated up to a point. But there are still some things we will not reveal about our exotic tastes. I am not judgemental at all about what makes your elevator go to the top ( please...who am I to judge right?), but it does worry me what a TS or for that matter, what any provider or client does in his/her private time and with whom. BBBJs can transmit STD's, DATY can and of course unprotected intercourse. How many of you are willing to take that risk? Sully, you mentioned you cannot bring something like that home. Well, that is really up to you. It's your responsibility to "play" safe. Don't depend on others for your welfare. If you are worried, take your own precautions, you will know that you took care of business and you'll feel good about it.
