As always, there's no shortage of asinine emails in my inbox! Today's douche bag award goes to the guy who sent me this query:

"Hey Carmen I was interested in spending some time with you. I dont really have much money per se but whatever compensation I could give you would be in pot. Lemme know."

Ohhh gee, THANKS mister!!! I live in Florida and can never find pot here!!! (Sarcasm. I don't even smoke pot.)

Now maybe if he had a fine $1500 bottle of Italian wine, we could talk. Ha. I wanted to email him and tell him to sell his pot and get some cash, but I don't even want clients who are going to play like this, so, F*ck 'em! (Not literally!)

I mean, that's great that McD and his date worked that out. I have nothing against pot and in fact I think it should be decriminalized.

But why would this turd email me offering that? It says on my website that I DO NOT smoke... but of course, he probably didn't read that.

The email raised a red flag for me in the sense that it could be LE, trying to bust someone for prostitution AND some kind of drug charge... as they often like to do.

I've had guys email me in the past offering cocaine and "blues" (roxycontin) as well. I stay far, far away from those types.

... And he meant to say pots.  You may have just turned down an amazing set of cookware.

Why do some guys assume that because a lady does this, she is a drug user in some form?  Get a clue and get some cash!!!

Drugs, more trouble than they're worth. Pots, not appealing. Italian wine, maybe. Full set of every Wusthof Classic Ikon knife in the catalogue? We may be able to work something out here.

This could turn a misdemeanor charge into a felony drug charge.

I barter quite often but we are talking stuff I actually spend money on like cosmetic stuff, dental appts. cars, etc. Some of these jackwagons are going to start asking if we take food stamps next. Sheesh.

Well of course those are red flags! You absolutely did the right thing, and should cease communication with someone like that. I was by no means condoning the behavior.

It was just that your post brought back memories of McDonald's post, and I wanted to share. If you look at the thread, he caught a lot of flack for it too. I just found his post entertaining, as are most of McDonald's posts (hence the comment about the 'book')

I got a text where the guy asked first if I could score some pot and sends me a photo of it. As if I don't know what it looks like. Then another photo comes through of some white lines and he asks " Can you score some blow too"


Um, no.

I'm totally ok with that, if it's something I want/need.

But to echo a sentiment already spoken, yes it is offensive when someone assumes all working girls do drugs.
