That said, you do bring up a couple of valid points. I have a hard time arguing that an "active hooker" who has lousy reviews should be allowed to run from those reviews. OTOH, there are some very valid reasons a lady might want to distance herself from her hooker persona and her reviews, Stalkers, retirement, being outed are just a few of the reasons that come to mind.
I also disagree with TER's policy of not allowing ANY discussion of de-listed providers, I think it's a public service to be able to warn the community about de-listed providers who were given the boot for cause.
I guess this is simply not a Yes/No type of question. IMHO in "some" cases a provider should be able to de-list, in others I find myself in agreement with you that it's kind of a matter of rewarding bad behavior.

Providers bitching about reviews is kind of like restaurants bitching about Yelp. However, I understand that some of the details of provider reviews can be taken a bit personally. Some bitter johns like OTM tend to note crude details like "her tits were really saggy." Women usually don't like those kinds of comments, and restaurants don't have to worry about personal comments like that at all.
The difference between this and yelp is that eating at restaurants is legal. Some women may have grown concerned with the potentially legal ramifications of having reviews and no longer want to be associated with it.

Reviews by themselves can NOT be used as prima facie evidence to bust girls. They can only be used as corroborating evidence after the girls have been busted.
It's a free country. Providers are free to request that TER take their profile down, and free to ask hobbyists to not write reviews. I'm free to see only providers with reviews. I understand that some of the reviews include exaggerated or even dishonest observations about providers, which is why I prefer to read multiple reviews for a given provider before choosing her or someone else. I want to know what kind of services might be available, if she looks like her pictures, if she has a bad attitude, or if there will be upselling.

There is no homogeneous way to be a companion or a client. And there are so many logical reasons why a companion wouldn't want to be reviewed. If a site's administrators choose to be unwavering and devoid of empathy when it comes to the some of the very problematic aspects of reviews and how they can be used with malicious intent, then is it really surprising if there is an exodus? And no, if an escort chooses to leave x site, it doesn't mean they should be compelled to give up their whole career just because some hobbyists don't understand that one site isn't actually the center of the hobby universe.

Shit, I'm as low budget as they come, and I still manage two reviews per year, which means that on top of my regulars, I also manage to see 2 new girls every year. Can you imagine how I'd be doing if I was a CEO?

I have managed to have a full dance card every week for nine years without disclosing my TER handle to ever get an appointment. I can write honest reviews without fear of blowback.
So guys CAN see girls anonymously, but it takes a little more to pass screening. Most guys are lazy and not willing do a little extra work to get around giving up their TER handle.
If the girls demanded handles they would lose 95% of their business. Only a few guys post and most don't write reviews. I've never had a girl demand a handle in my area. Screening is more than just having a handle.

Wrote a glowing review for a provider and got an email ripping me a new one. I wrote a glowing review for her 1 year ago and scored her 9 appearance and 9 performance. This year I gave her an 8 (really hot) and a 9 for performance. She ripped into me for not rating her a 9....so I scanned her 70 reviews and her looks range from 7 to 9. So was I wrong?
Then she finishes the email by telling me that she doesn't like to be reviewed. Huh? She has 70 reviews on TER, 8 in 2017.
