So the longer I see you, the more it costs until I get to 4 hours then, we are back to $200/hour, but if I want to see you for 6 hours it costs me the most per hour. Below is verbatim from her site. (My calculations in parentheses).

She is figuring you will not do as you have done, breaking into an hourly rate. If you're that concerned about this provider, see her at her best rate, I would. Many quality providers will reduce hourly rates past the first hour, and many do not. It's our choice to make.

For example, recently a local lady started offering outcalls (previously, she was strictly incalls), but her rates are weird. ( F.Y.I., Her incall location is her home, not a hotel. )
Incalls - $300
Outcalls - $250
Why is that?
I never bothered to ask her why she charges more for incalls. I figured that outcalls would be higher due to the provider driving and having to account for gas and 'wear and tear' on the car.

I do the same thing, lol. Why? Because if I have to get a room, that's between $100-$120... if I do outcall, that's $10-$50 in gas, depending on how far I have to drive. I only take one appointment a day, so paying $100-$120 for the room, & deducting that from the $250, I was only netting $150-130. Versus outcall, there is no room to pay for.

That logic doesn't make sense because if that provider wanted only ONE appointment per day, she can make it happen regardless of the rate she charges.
Why charge more just to keep the traffic down? Any provider can have as few or as many appointments per day by selecting who she wants to see. Simple as that.

called GAS that a car needs to run on, so my guess is that's the reason. WOW...rocket science. I also charge more for outcalls because a one hour outcall takes 2 hours. If you come to me, it takes the time you pay for...duh. I don't know why your friend charges more when she uses less money, but it's probably so she does not have to see many guys thus making it even more obvious.

our ladies call it a graduated schedule of rates..unfortunately some never graduated with a degree in math..
Sometimes the odd rates are because the lady is pushing her clients to her preferences. I've seen one lady, where the hour and a half cost was twice the hourly rate. I asked her after our hour session, and she said that she is worn out after an hour, so likes to discourage longer appointments. Another lady, charges $150 for a half hour, and $200 for an hour. Oddly, she has has more half hour requests than an hour. She is young, as are most of her clients.
That all said, sometimes it is just poor math.
Please do not attempt to understand. She may prefer shorter appointments because she get's bored easy. I offer discounts for multiple hours because I prefer longer playdates. Maybe she needs to pay for childcare, a hotel room, etc..
She maybe burnt out after 6hrs, hence the inflation.
that particular example makes no logical sense, i'll give you that, lol. however most often a provider's rates are based on her time preferences, as others have stated. personally i prefer longer appointments, so the more time spent with me, the lower my rate (by the hour). there is also a point (say, past 24 hrs) where i will do away completely with any formal rate system and just come up with a reasonable number which i feel is fair and comfortable for us both. when i spend a weekend with someone, the last thing on my mind is $$$$, i am thinking about enjoying the time spent with someone special.
and that's why it is so much. I charge less for dinner dates than I do for straight sex, but the dinner dates add up to more clock hours. For instance, my 2 hour playtime only rate is $600 but my 4 hour dinner rate is only 8. If a guy were to want 4 hours playtime only, it would be $400 an hour for each hour which is $1600. I charge for sex...the other stuff I am not so much worried about.

I totally get "sweet spot" price points, but the sweet spots are so convoluted all the way up and down the price chart. Unless she is in Bangladesh or some other third world country, the $200/hr rate is flag. If she could charge more, she would charge more so at $200, my guess is that you are definitely getting what you pay for... an eighth grade education and a dentist dream come true
