I was robbed.

I can't believe it.  I was totally robbed just now.  I'm in Vegas and was out late so I cruised the bars and met a couple girls.  They took me in their car, made me go use the atm to prove I wasn't a cop, then we went up top my room and we fooled around.  One of them got dressed real fast and went out the door, and the other one tried to kiss me goodbye when I was pulling out my wallet and noticed my two credit cards were gone!  I quickly stopped her and acused her of stealing them, and she said she didn't and blamed her friend.  Then I got dressed and went downstairs with one of them and ran into the other.  I begged them to give the cards back, but they kept saying that they didn't have em and offerred to let me strip search them.  They took off in their car, and I raced to my room and cancelled my cards.  Both cards tried to have cash pulled already, but declined with bad pin number.

The really stupid thing is that my wallet was full of cash they didn't take.

I started putting things together, and what I just figured out was that one girl was on the phone several times in the car, when we got to the hotel, in the elevator, and when we got to my floor, there was a guy in the hallway that one of them flirted with on the way to the room.
Then, in the middle of the fooling around, one of them got up to go to the bathroom.  And I just now thinking back, she was shoving herself in my face pretty hard, so now I'm thinking thats when the other girl took them.

I'm still checking my room to see if anything else is stolen, but they didn't get my ATM card thank goodness.

...is that when a women seems interested in me I just assume I'm about to be robbed. So, I hide my wallet and play along.

I have wondered and worried about the possiblilty of being robbed, so I never take or keep my wallet in my pants when I am with a provider. I make sure I have the right donation plus tip and then leave my wallet in the car or hidden out of sight. It is unfortunate that we have to think this way but you just can't be to cautious.

and the moral of your story is....
don't pick up strange girls and go to any ATMS!
You were very, very lucky!

Next time call the cops...

I mean...picking up strangers and taking 'em to an ATM...incredible

made a very big mistake... merchants even call when I try to use them... and ATMs just refuse them... my ex took it all!!!  and let that be a warning to yas.....

But it probably wouldn't have helped in your case.

the little head.

I'm really sorry that happened to you and you were VERY lucky. There are a lot of lessons here so plan ahead guys. NO pun intended.

This is one BIG reason why I never cruise the bars for appointments. The reverse could happen to me. Big careful out there folks and don't lead with your hormones. A little nookie or an extra donation is not worth your safety.

Sincerely,
Anneke
PS...it's great to be home in the U.S.A.

I just didn't know it was to steal my credit cards.  Thanks for all your sympathies everybody.  And, yes I recognize that I am SUPER lucky.   I thought about taking it further with them, but after I put it together in my head and realized that they probably already handed off the cards to somebody else, I just let them go and immediately cancelled them.  Nothing else seems to be missing, and I still have all my cash, which happened to be a lot of it.  (won a little, heh).

But, it all happened becuase it was to late at night to call anybody reliable, and someone suggested that the bars are usually good for short-notice.  I guess I've learned my lesson.  NEVER stray from TER!

I did that once on a trip to Bogota -- stuffed it with a couple unsolicited credit cards I had received in the mail and never activated, plus some color zeroxed $$$ (they were fairly realisitc with the old all greem money). Neither the fake or real wallet were stolen however.
