The most important thing I have learned is that having the ability to know so many fine women in the business has brought more joy to me than I could ever had imagined and that life is good.

May a million website bloom.

1. sex w/o love is empty;
2. anticipation is often more pleasurable than fulfillment;
3. this hobby is addictive;
4. believe very little about what anyone, anytime, for whatever reasons tells you about his/her sex life.

If you can't distinguish fantasy from reality then hobbying probably isn't for you. That's not to say you can't become friends with providers - they are real people with real lives, after all. But the basis is the fantasy relationship of the hobby. Personally, I love 'em all!

Seriously, I know that it depends on your definiton of love, but I do love all the women I am with, and that's quite a few lately.

What I mean by love is not that I plan to live with them and committ my whole life to them, but to cherish the time I am with them and their humanity and be an equal (as far as the physical relationship will allow) as opposed to viewing the relationship in terms of its mechanical aspects only.

The poster I responded to said that sex w/o love is empty.I agree with your definition of hobbiest/provider love but think the poster had in mind something else:love involving commitment.

I was trying to exercise my sense of humor.  It seems as if it's really flaccid these daze and needs all the work I can give it.

1) I learned that my ex left me for a younger man.
2) I learned that those who accuse you of things that you didn't do, did them themselves.
3) High end providers (who are in for themselves) are people - who on the whole have advanced degrees, high intelligence and believe it or not - empathy for many of their clients.
4) Providers who pretend to be high end providers are not like those in #4.
5) Intelligence has NOTHING to do with education.
6) Success in marriage REQUIRES a helthy sex life
7) Ladies in this business ARE ladies.
8) I can become attracted to someone by what they write.
9) I need to take a road trip!
10) Friends are where you find them....  there are no rules for friendship.
11) the most fun I have had in a very long time was at a meet and greet of TER folks....  much needed -
12) Pain - caused by human misunderstanding and in some instances, by the evil that does reside in each of us is also where you find it - there is neither rhyme nor reason.
13) Women (providers) can either control the hobby situation or be controlled by it, those that control the situation get as much enjoyment from it as do the male hobbiests.
14) It is always good if the provider is in control of the situation.
15) TER has brought a sense of "community" to this activity that did not exist before.
