In my pretty large West Coast City there are three or four large booking/ad sites (one of them being P411) that allow ladies to turn on an Available Now lamp.
I've noticed a good handful of ladies will become Available Now at what strikes me as weird hours (like between 1:00am and 6:00am). They are local, so it's not like a time difference thing. If you do have these odd hour outlooks, I'd be curious to know why. Just can't sleep? Odd work schedule where you get off at midnight? Suddenly realized rent is due tomorrow and panicking/hoping? Nothing wrong with the odd hours, of course, just curious.Desperation.
There is no competition from top girls at 3:00a. In all fairness, some may be that third-tier once-in-a-lifetime experience you've been avoiding until a time when you're desperate, too. Overall, if they were competitive during the day, they would be sleeping like other people that are good at their job.

Naturally the larger the city, the more likely you are to be able to find late night company. Much the same as you are a lot more likely to find restaurants (not of the 24 hr coffee shop variety) open late in a big city than you are in a small city.
Of course there are some serious negatives for women who work those very late hours, not the least of which are the occasional VERY drunk or very drugged up clients at that hour of the night, but hey some of those girls are more than happy to "join the party" which is why "some" of them work those late hours.
Personally, I haven't picked up the phone to call up a hooker at 3 AM for many years now, but I'd be lying if I tried to claim I had never done so. lol

Many people have jobs where they must communicate with people in Europe and Asia, thus the old 9 to 5 paradigm is not for them.

You make a great point. Working 12 hour days starting at 7AM. It makes it every difficult to find someone willing to visit you after dinner is over. Not really a vampire scene, just want to blow off some steam so I can get a good nights sleep.
On most of these venues when we hit available now it stays on for 4-12 hours depending so often it may show avail now but in fact that was hours ago and it hasnt timed out yet.
Or some simply are night owls/insomniacs etc and figure might as well.....
Or on drone time. If they do this full time they can set their own hours. I have been lucky enough to shun the 8-5 world for years and my life is so much happier doing things my way. Some escorts, like guys, don't want a regular schedule and post an ad when the feeling strikes.
l won't hobby late like that for safety reasons but I'm often up until 3 or 4 a.m. I know some girls like to be available after closing time at bars or have been out having a blast, dressed up and aren't ready to stop. They decide making an easy $nameyourprice would be a nice nightcap.

I prefer the rotary dial. You can keep your eye on the road and "feel" your way to the correct digits for dialing. In deference to BigPapaSan, I have to admit that the graphics do not compare to more modern options.

Most metro areas have industries with shift workers. I'm sure top tier ladies can work from 9-5. But there'll always be a range of competitors who will seek out a niche.

And since I live in a large metro area, there are lots of places with grave shifts. Some providers are night owls, and can take advantage of the grave hours.
In regards to the P411 available now. Which lasts for one hour.
1) 40% of the ladies are actually Available NoW
2). 60% are ladies that are snuggled up comfy at home working on advertisement and are Available Now to Prebook or Communicate with you Now.

1) 50% of the available now ads are agencies. Agencies adore this feature as it is easy to sign on available now three times a day to be 24/7.
2) the other 50% are a combination of number 1and 2 above.
I am an early am person. I have done a few late nights over the years...more planned. I actually gave one away this week as I just was too tired to be my best. As for the spontaneous ones, I am quite suspicious of them...usually no time to screen so a no go plus the likelihood the gent has been partying is high. That equates to noisy, roughness, and unpredictable moods. I had a friend who is just a night owl and has had gents fall asleep in her room. Ughhh
For me my last available appointment is from 9:30pm-10:30pm. However, I have found that on the days where I go to the gym later in the afternoon after one of my two week hiatus's. I'm literally pumped with adrenaline and can lay down at 11pm and not go to sleep and literally be up until 6am, so why not take an appointment. I mean it's 5:04am and I haven't been to sleep yet. It doesn't help that I take naps during the day either. I took a two hour one from 5-7 that's what got me up now.
As far as screening, I'm not going to be walking into a hotel at that time of night. I'll do an outcall to a residence or incall. And that's why I recommend screening in advance, p411 works great for late, late nights and I have a verification tool on my website that screens immediately.
I have a useless reason but it gives me a piece of mind. LE wouldn't be waiting for me at late hours of the night ( i reside in a smaller city so not much happens late at night). However, i have scheduled my first appointment and ran into this specific issue. Was able to work out a time that works for both of us.

And it is not unusual to see some providers with available now on P411 or Eros at 1am or later.
Like someone else mentioned some sites can have available now for an hour all the way up to 8hrs.Doesn't necessarily mean she is available right then and there for an appt.
I am in vegas where people come to town late sometime or are up gambling won some money and want to have some fun.My hours of availability are usually 2 or 3am.That does not mean I am booking a last minute appt at that time but if a guy prebooks for a 1 or 2am appt that is not unusual for me.I am a night owl although I do get up early to take my doggie out and workout before it gets too hot out here.
I have had some gents reach out to me after midnight P411 guys usually who are inquiring about a late night appt.If I am up and ready I will go.And I am not desperate.But I am speaking just for vegas where everything is still open late night not a city where everything is closed by 10pm.
