TER General Board

Since someone's TER profile doesn't have any information needed...

to actually make an appointment, and there is no way to verify the validity of any of his review claims, I personally do not accept TER board membership as screening. Additional screening is always needed.

The idea that just because someone's signed up for an anonymous website - where he can earn privileges (aka VIP days) by submitting reviews of sessions that may or may not happened - he should somehow be considered safe, and his review history should suffice as screening is ludicrous.

If your TER profile had your name, phone number, email address, and physical description (e.g. age, height, weight, ethnicity), like some screening sites do, and the providers you've met could verify the accuracy of your information by giving you an okay, I would probably accept it as screening. But as of right now, TER is a review site, not a screening site, so it can only serve as about 10% of the whole picture for me - and I'm sure many others feel the same way.

Some guys don't understand that if we don't have their names, we will not communicate with them, because calling someone "BigBlow69" or any other ridiculous handle is really a turn-off... If we don't have their phone numbers, we can't call them... If we don't have their physical description, we can't meet them, because we need to know who to look for in the restaurant to avoid any uncomfortable moments, or who to expect at the peephole to make sure we're opening the door to the right person... So if you plan to contact someone via PM, make sure you include all that as it's really crucial information. A few lines showing that you are an intelligent, literate guy also help grease the wheels and may land you a booking faster, in my opinion. I'm yet to receive an inquiry with an actual intro and all the necessary information via TER PM, but a girl can dream, right? :)

Be safe and make the ladies you care about feel safe too. Happy hobbying!

question for our cautious ladies..would you screen a board member? be honest..

how is it obvious? I could get a TER account and pretend I am a guy and write a review.

Screening is part of the hobby just like tits are.

Why wouldn't they? If the client had reviews, maybe it would involve light screening only.

What just because you post on a board, means you are okay to see?

I might screen them a little lighter than someone I dont know anything about, but I would still want some info from you before agreeing to meet.

this just happened to me.A ter member contacts me provides first name and his TER handle.
He is not a VIP member so there is no way to even confirm this guy is the one who created the handle here.
Does not have a board presence and he believes his many years ago reviews is sufficient enough for screening.Nope, sorry not going to cut it with this lady!
Anyone can tell me "Hey I am macdaddy1944 from TER" this serves no purpose to me.There are a few exceptions if a gent contacts me provided some info about himself, has a board presence here with recent reviews and whitelists from providers I know I will see him. But,for other gents just a TER or any board handle with no other info is just not worth my safety. Most gents that I see from here or other sites will provide their handle and the required info but every now and then there are some that try to go around screening and think their TER profile is good enough. We do not meet.

In some other cases the guy might be a member but does not post reviews at all.So him saying I am a board member of TER or another site here is my handle does nothing for me.Being a board member of any site does not substitute screening it might make it a little easier depending on who the gent is.Not all situations are the same.

you asked a similar question on the 60 and over board. Screening is what it is. If you don't like to be screened, maybe you shouldn't be seeing escorts.

no more screening questions from yours truly..you can only beat a dead horse for so long..

I think if a hobbyist has a long history of reviews, board contributions and several white list referrals from reputable/well established providers, it should definitely help in the verification process. Its usually why I send a PM to a provider in addition to the initial E-mail when I am looking to set up an appointment. I want them to see my TER history. I understand that ladies get MANY requests from hobbyists (most of them I am sure a waste of time) to set up  meetings. At least knowing that I am an established hobbyist (with reviews and credible referrals), should give the provider an initial peace of mind where she would want to continue with the verification process.

Now each lady has to then determine if they want to engage in more screening beyond knowing my review history/white list references. Many ladies accept my TER credentials as acceptable screening and we then proceed with the appointment details. I am certainly not bothered or offended in any way if they want something else (i.e a spefic provider reference or employment #, etc.) I am always happy to oblige. The goal is to make the lady completely comfortable where she is excited when you walk through the door. The last thing you ever want is the lady to be anxious before the meeeting, wanting to know if she screened you thoroughly enough.

the TER handle I claim.   In my experience, TER membership, posting history, reviews helps in screening but I'd not expect it to totally replace some basic screening also.   Most ladies use a combination of screening techniques.   I'm not privy to the details, nor should I be, but I want her to feel safe.

are TER reviewers...and the number seems to be growing.
Just because he has reviews doesn't mean he actually met the lady....whitelisting would help the issue of fake reviews.
I also don't accept reviews or references from backpage only adverts/girls/whayever. More than likely, they didn't screen you which tells me that your/he plays Russian Roulette...before long he'll get arrested or his ass kicked by a pimp or blablabla....I want no part of that not do I place myself in those situations....won't see him...NEXT
I keep my play ground safe for me and my playmates!!

I find it a little ironic that stratification among paid escorts even occurs in an illicit, illegal practice like prostitution. It just goes to show that there is no substitution for good taste and that snobbery knows no boundaries.

I can do my own homework before he has to send me the refs. I click on his name and contact the last 3 women he reviewed to see if they liked him...done deal. It is no different than me asking him to email me their websites, and I still have to contact them. If it's a local, I require more than refs, so that is different. Can't get that info from the boards.
