One for the ladies - curious what percentage of your clients do a review? I know repeats that have already posted one are unlikely to repost. Curious also as to repeat vs one off client mix.

Thanks

Being trans kinda limits the number of clients who are even willing to write reviews for me.
I have 4 reviews... 3 were written by clients who became regulars...1 was written by a client I only ever saw once.

I'm fairly picky about my clients, and I screen harder than most clients are willing to accept (at least, in Austin), so most of my business is regulars, with maybe 2 new clients per month.

Based on the number of actual clients (not appointments) I've had, I'm sitting at a pretty 2% - 3% of my clients who actually review me.

So they couldn't do a review even if they wanted to.  So a subsidiary question here might be, what percentage of an woman's john found them on TER?

....most times they've still found me first, on either BP, or through a web search.  Rarely through P411.

I didn't see any qualification about "where" they get their clients from or asking how many TER members actually review.

Jakes point is completely valid in that many/most clients have no idea about TER, or in the case of TSIvy who resides in Austin, TER is not the dominant board there, so most reviews written in that city won't even be found on TER

...there is no dominant board for trans providers in Austin.  There is another popular board here, I guess, but guys that see us and post reviews often get ridiculed for it, there.
Sucks, man.  I don't mind reviews. I don't care for them to be quite as detailed as my last one, but I wouldn't mind getting them a little more often. Especially as a trans woman.

The percentage is 9.7%. Not sure how they calculated that, but I think they pulled it out of...

Especially with all the new rules...most clients seem to take a "won't review unless asked" approach.

Have heard that same ratio over many years.

I myself review every girl my first meeting, but that's just me.

Since I'm pretty low volume and have been in two exclusive relationships while being here, on average one out of three actually reviews. Most of the men I see aren't interested in telling the tale, but they did find me here advertising.

Im in this same boat. My clients have seen for years. Im not going to ask them to keep reviewing me. I do quality work so I attend to long term clients. Im looking for a few new clients. If interested....

there is a contingent of providers who are vehemently anti-review.  The kicker is that recently I was asked by one of those providers who has anti-review agitation on her website to write a review!  But not for TER because she no longer has a TER presence -- for one of the other review sites.

It's pretty obvious that good reviews are good for business such that even crusading anti-review providers want to have good reviews published.

I did write her that review -- because her performance earned it.

And the main reason for that is that most of my clientele this year of touring are clients booking after seeing me and getting to know me on twitter and they tend not to be TER members or into the review culture at all.
I think in 7 months of touring this year, and being really busy, I've only had about 4 guys ask me if I'd like a review on here, whereas when I first started out in the US I saw lots of TER members and wasn't on Twitter :))

I am confused.  You have 42 reviews.  5 are from 2014.  20 are from 2016.  17 are from 2017.  Given that we still have 3 months of 2017 left, you seem on track to obtain the most reviews of any year.  You are seeing more people this year, but 2% vs. 25%?  So you only saw ~ 20 people in 2014?  This year you have seen ~ 850 people?  That is what you are saying.  5/20 = 25% and 17/850 = 2%.

I dunno, but lets do the math on seeing 850 clients.
1.  Avg. appointment of 1.5 hrs = $700
2.  Only 3/4 of way through the year.
3.  Projected Year End Revenue: $700 x 850 x (4/3) = $793,333.33
4.  Assume 60/40 split (40% of Revenue are expenses)
5.  Projected Year End Take Home Pay: $476,000
It would be a shame if she were still somehow "broke."

Perhaps she wrote some of those reviews to help drum up business since she said there was a drop in reviews. Or had the same guys do different reviews under different names. Or saw a lot of guys for way less than $700....or works for someone who she gives half her money too. The possibilities are endless. Either way that number is high! I see about 10 per month and that is like pulling teeth because most want to be cheap so i turn them away. Or when i ask when they were tested for stds last they say 6 months or i dont remember. Too dangerous for me and the people i see!

As for that 2% number put out there by Clair, seventy sessions a month isn't really that big a number, Maybe she overstated it a bit, but three clients a day times lets say 23 working days a month would put her right at that number. I remember dating a few girls who would whine about how slow things were if they only had 4 or 5 appointments in a day.

it's all relative I suppose. The number just doesn't sound that high to me, but speaking of high, it sounds like the market is telling you that your rates are too high. I am not telling you that, I don't care what you charge as I am not local to your area, but if you are having a problem getting clients,  and guys are whining about your rates, maybe the market is trying to tell you something? just saying, it's free advice and worth every penny of what I charged you for it. lol

You would actually be surprised on how many clients do not review providers. Most do not. I have asked and an my clients are not part of the review boards.
