No I am not lost he said he was thinking of leaving a bad review for the lady because she cancelled last minute.

I know you ladies don't like cancelations that waste your time.  What should you do for your appointment if you have to cancel?

I had a provider that had numerous good reviews cancel on me 42 minutes before time to meet.  No message on voice mail or call on contact number however later, when she returned my call 3 hours after the scheduled time I found out she sent an e mail telling of a problem.  We talked for about five minutes at that time and I believe her story so don't want to give a bad review but am curious how other providers would handle the situation other than the provider asking for another opportunity to meet?

Whenever that situation has happened to me I have called them at least a few hours in advance to let them know that I cannot make it after all and I will offer them a $50 dollar discount off of the session fee for the next time that we meet.

I don't think I understand what you're asking.  If it was me I would apologise and say something along the lines of 'I hope we can meet another time' and then it's up to you to decide if you want to schedule another appointment - if you believe her story then no reason not to.

Sending an email less than an hour before you are due to meet, when you are probably en route isn't very helpful (assuming it's an outcall).  Really, short notice cancellations need to be by phone.

However, if I did, I would offer a special discount the next time I saw the gentleman or extra hours.

How can you write a review for that? I thought you had to meet before you can leave a revew?

In answer to the original question:

Nah, if the provider has good reviews and doesn't make this a habit, and especially if she makes it up to him with a discount or something nice, I wouldn't give her a bad review. Things happen. Look at how many men do this to us at the last minute -- and sometimes with no explanation -- but we cannot review them. :)

My ATF has canceled on me in a last minute MANY times, saying she was sick (I know thr PMs that she wanted to see someone else on a couple of those occasions!!) No compensation at all. She might not be my ATF anymore soon...

in the near future. I've been fortunate this far that I haven't fallen sick before an appointment or been in an auto accident, or whatever.
