I need a little more than your word for it before jumping off the nearest bridge.

Ok so EROS has been hardcore penetrated by us Feds, even as I type we're feeling around every nook and crevice for evidence and we'll be ramming our way through the rectum of these illegal operations.

We're not pulling out until we're thoroughly satisfied, and none of you will be protected from the long reach of the law.

Sincerely,
I AM AN F.B.I. AGENT!

I don't know why, but I find that hilarious for an FBI agent.  You must be a real intellectual.

That girl got me banned from her agency. Best part of it is as far as I can tell she doesn't even work with them anymore.

The zeitgeist of our times indeed. Great bod though.

You know, you need to pay if you are gonna feel around my crevice and that is extra.

You will be happy to know I offer a great pegging for free.

Make sure you wear the cover and yeah, I would expect us to make sure you didn't pull out til satisfied.

is a getting a slap on the wrist and a fine. I highly doubt anybody will do any serious time.

You people kill me
Did anyone read the fucking article before screaming
"The Sky Is Falling"!!
FUCK ME!

Apply for a research grant and thoroughly examine if such an act is linked as such

Can you call me up as a participant, whether client or provider?

Has TER ever been hit with an FBI raid? Like, this place could easily be accused of human trafficking or laundering. Has that issue ever come up here?

and as far as I know, not only are the TER servers in Tulip land, so is everything else. Of course, I would have no way of knowing if they did have an office in the US and I would never say so even if I did know such a thing.

I can't find a very recent post (November 4-5-6-7?) that had a link to a news story about some academic who SCRAPED data from TER in order to do an analysis of pricing and other trends. GaG posted a reply about one of the tables being very interesting.  Where is that post and newspaper article?
.
My point being ... that guy scraped lots of data from TER without a subpoena, w/o a search warrant, but maybe with VIP :-) privs (to get all of the data fields).
.
Lots of detailed "scraped" data was good enough for a big academic analysis. I don't know if it would be admissible as evidence in a legal proceeding. Even if it doesn't carry the weight of subpoenaed evidence, it provides guiding info.
.
My point being, even if Eros HQ is in a country below sea level in Europe, and even if the raided location in the US is nothing but a separate and independent data - payment processing center, LE has probably SCRAPED all of Eros postings into their evidence bag anyway. Right? By scraping, they have the publicly visible part of Eros, not the billing and authentication and personal info part of Eros.
.
I think I just answered by own question. Scraping public info gives them public info. The raid gives them the non-public billing, personal, etc. info.

No matter what, I think the major result of this investigation will be to reveal how consensual these arrangements are.  I expect they will be searching Eros forever and not find a single case of trafficking.  The collective evidence could be used to help to strike down laws restricting and punishing consensual relationships between informed adults.
.
If they turn over real names to the IRS, and if the IRS is so inclined, the IRS might find a bunch of undeclared income.  Well, some people claim that the IRS can be tougher than the  FBI!! Just ask Al Capone! Does the IRS want to spend tremendous resources collecting $50,000 each from 1000 escorts (who will have to do more escorting to pay it off) or use their resources to go after bigger fish? Like off-shore tax evading multimillionaires.

if you've adveritsed previously. you might as well keep advertising and keep making your money as they probably have your info already. thinking that they only have info on providers who have active ads just doesn't make any sense.

That is 100% true. The main reason I refused to get verifed on EROS is because they demand not only your unburied photos, your passport, they want a selfie as well with you holding a sign saying Eros and your ID number and holding your ID.
When I asked how long this information would be held for they said 2 years after I stop advertising and would not delete my information even if requested due to retirement.

So far this is true, its all over provider only fourms. i don't remember if i had to give my ID when i joined eros years ago but i always hide my personal info when giving my ID to any adult advertising site and only show my date of birth and face..i hope no one goes to jail

Chill out. I didnt talk about anything from PO boards i simply said that this current topic on eros being raided is true since people here are saying its "fake news" and i would never mention what po boards by name..since the topic is already being  disccussed here its not a big secret

I doubt they are questioning consumers. Nobody has time for that sh*T....I am just worried about my ID on there.

You're about 6 days late. Several news links were already posted in this thread many days ago.

Local ABC channel 11 reporters are now quoting former employees as being confident at least some advertiser data was seized.   What a nightmare for the ladies....  and so many implications if the whole database was compromised.   I wonder how long it'll take to get the indictment unsealed.   Any legal eagles able to give a ballpark on that?

Tried to post the link but links containing real names are not permitted.  Google for details.
