Twitter is great !  It gives you an opportunity to follow their posts and develop some insight into how or what they are really thinking.   There is certainly nothing wrong with reviews-but there is no real chance for any sort of interaction with the gal you are about to hook up with based in large part on not only her ad's-but her reviews !

But...Twitter---lot's of gals seem to forget that they are posting real live stuff about themselves-lots of insight to gain !

I had a lovely discussion yesterday with somebody about being able to validate what should be expected to be true based on reading reviews and looking at scores. He did not know things are some times altered in reviews.
I posted on my Twitter how would guys validate a lady is good if TER was down.
Over whelming response was guys are checking social media (I say guys LOWPAW because no female hobbyist answered!!!!!  xooxxoooxoxoxo) to really get a vibe for the provider.
Is there one social media platform you check more Twitter or Instagram????

PLEASE only post answers here- not sure why anytime I post a discussion on GB I get lots of private messages but its better to post here so every lady can see what might be more helpful to grow their business and hobbists to have fun seeing something more personal)

If this has been discussed before- sorry I do not get to come on here very often so I truly do not know.

Reviews.Alot of clients don't want to write reviews on pay to play websites because it's illegal business. Clients don't want to tell world on pay to play websites paid for hooker. No free sessions with hookers.

All it is full of is what escorts are eating or drinking, (BFD).
If not that it's full of posts from other escort trying to get their name out in front of everybody.

Face it both of these social media outlets for egotistical people who think for some reason we need to know what they are doing every second of the day.  Guess what we don't need to know you went out for a coffee today,
Millions of people do it everyday and they don't need to post about.

As for them to validate a girl, really are you kidding me, it a marketing ploy, like a provider is going to write anything bad about herself on it. If someone does post something bad about her on her account she is going to remove it.

How can you trust these site these sites for reviews, when the escort controls what can and can not be written on the site.

TER may not be 100% honest, but it a lot better then using a social media to validate  a escort.

I added just about every lady in my local area, and it didn't take long to narrow my "to do" list down to 3 of them.

I'm sensing a trend here lately at TER... hookers don't like reviews. Well that's too damn bad, because this hobby was terrible before online review boards. I will never again see a provider without reviews. I know that some reviewers exaggerate, but I read as many reviews as possible before deciding to contact or not contact a given provider.

Before TER, every time I saw a new girl, it was a complete gamble, and the overall level of service was bad compared to now. After booking an appointment, some providers felt free (or were required to by the agency) to see any number of customers before me, while periodically calling with lame excuses. When they finally showed up at my door, some were attractive, and some were not. There would sometimes be a chilly recitation of her rules and/or an upsell negotiation. And if I popped early on, the appointment was over no matter how much I paid. All these things can still happen, but will result in negative reviews.

Brenda, I don't even understand why you started this thread. You have good reviews, and they are likely helping you get business. Your twitter page may also serve some minor benefit in terms of business, but positive reviews are much more persuasive than just tweets and pictures.

Pay to play Illegal business.Don't leave evidence

I couldn't agree more. Transparency has made this hobby so much better

...a provider if TER were down. She then mentioned two social media sites as alternatives. She wasn't bemoaning reviews. She asked what would you do?

According to her this came up due to a discussion with someone that hadn't considered reviews are often embellished accounts of the session. We know that is certainly true.

Maybe she should have used a different title for this discussion thread.

JEEZ, My question had ZERO to do with me personally.
The title was short and sweet but if you actually read the paragraph, well I would not be sitting here wondering why I bother to ever post!!!!

So yes, the discussion was
1- because although we all appreciate the overall help TER provides most of us- there is NO guarantee of the site being here tomorrow. Many big escort sites have gone down Escorts.com years ago, Back Page, Craigslist, Room service owner in jail, Datecheck, agency issues etc so the question was truly how would a hobbyist get a feel for a lady he has not seen yet if reviews were not available.
And yes #2 was he really did not know scores could be changed if there was an absence of content etc

The mention of coffee on every post, ok then a guy who is interested in that lady may decide to bring a $20 gift card for her favorite coffee place, its not a big deal but its a sweet gesture a hobbyist would not maybe know otherwise.

I post all different stuff from coffee, to my dogs, to my fish, garden - yes me, but my regulars truly enjoy my twitter because they meet/see these things at my incall. My clients see the changes in my fish tank, pet my dogs---- so it allows them to continue being a part of my life in a fun way. Not all clients (thankfully ) just want to fuck a different lady each time- some are smart to know "usually" the best sessions are when the nerves are gone from 1st time meeting and you really get to know each other for subsequent sessions as human beings.

Just because some people have zero interest in a provider outside of his paid time does not mean others do not. No - we are not dating but there is no reason a lady should not use social media to show her personality and keep clients up to date. I don't know how agencies work- if girls are on a website but if they do not have a page through their agency the lady who works for an agency could use it to market herself. Guys who simply just want to show up and fuck - do not have to enjoy the fun of social media- nothing wrong with the guys who are not interested and nothing wrong with those who are!

I did not say anything about hookers hating reviews- no clue where all that came from but thankfully TER is respectful to providers who do not want people writing about their "brand name".  It would be so nice if just once I could post something without it getting derailed. Social media allows a lady to post fun stuff and not deal with trolls because yes, she can just block instead of dealing with people who intentionally want to be nasty. If my question was unclear, I would have certainly enjoyed the opportunity to clarify myself without hearing hookers hate reviews nonsense.

As with any form of marketing, of course the "company" is going to post the good stuff- duh!!! But plenty of ladies including myself have been very real on their accounts to enjoy sharing a little of their "real" life. I have posted videos first thing in the AM - no makeup etc, to show I am very comfortable in my own skin. I can post selfies daily that are not blurred, photoshopped- what you see is what you get with me and other ladies enjoying just going with the flow.
So if you do not like social media- just don't look!!! If you do enjoy!!!!

So can we get back to the question at hand????!!!!
******how would guys validate a lady is good if TER was down?******

Only ask other hobbyist that they have seen?
SOCIAL MEDIA LOL
ask other providers about other providers???

Have a great day!!!!!

Your twitter account is certainly useful if a guy wants to know what you look like, or maybe see if there are some common interests. And if a client starts to develop a serious case of the feels, he can potentially get some good tips for gifts and/or stalking you. And some providers like to use their twitter account to bitch about clients and reviews.

But it is extremely unlikely that a potential client will any get any practical information from your twitter or instagram account. By practical, I mean an understanding of what services you provide, your reliability, the quality of the experience. So your social media isn't even remotely close to a substitute for screening, though it would be slightly better than nothing.

This is like you asking whether somebody would rather pick a movie to see in the theater based on movie reviews or the movie's official website. One is useful and the other is strictly marketing.

Twitter can provide a great insight into the provider: what she is like and what she enjoys. I arranged meetings with a couple of women recently based on their twitter profile, and then a review of their website. Even though neither had reviews, the dates were great.

In either case there are good and bad reviews and there is good and bad social media.

I follow many women on Twitter and Instagram , but a lot of the ladies I like screen who can see their sites and of course they have some webmaster or such take care of their social media as well.

While many women I do see, don't review much on TER, I do find that seeing a woman who has been reviewed consistently as a safe prospect.  I also do think though believe us guys all have different responses as to what we think is the perfect gal.  I tend to rely on the reviews of a few select people that I have come to know who share my personal tastes.

That said, I would say in my 15+ years of this, only once have I been stunned in a positive way about the beauty of a woman in a positive manner that I didn't expect (she wasn't spectacular on the performance side - didn't review her, but others who have shared my opinion).  To me, performance and connection is the most important and where I find the greatest variables and I can only get a sense of that from reviews and not social media

Twitter has become my favorite, hands down. Also will start booking mostly from Ladies who have a twitter account... You can get a Vibe there as to personality, who may fit better, etc... Reverse can happen as well, as in someone you may have thought about before that may not be the right fit you may have thought about here.

I always check TER's reviews before booking but if there were no TER then it would have to be backchannelling with providers I already know

You are you asking if TER is down could a hobbyist validate that a provider is good as in looks or service through Twitter/Instagram?
Looks wise, yes I have looked at providers pics just to see different pics, angles, outfits, hairdo's, etc.  Once I did the same on Instagram before I went to see a provider because she didn't have TER/P411 etc.  If anything it solidifies her looks and if that is what attracts you in the first place then go for it.  I am normally on Instagram more than Twitter, but being that Insta is non-nudity, if the lady has Twitter that is definitely a plus (for more nudie pics).

is good for networking between the ladies, having a messaging platform is awesome if we want to get in touch quick for different matters. It's good also for regular clients that want to get in touch with me for bookings or just to say hi once in a while.
I have had bookings from clients that follow ladies in my area, I often post current locations, or who I am doing duos with and prospect clients have a glimpse of my personality. Many business like people have twitter accounts and secondary (play acts), from certain devices it's easier to have the real life and the hobby act and switch back and forth between them.

As far as instagram, I open an account but in the process of deleting it... no bookings from, and too many young people on it and it's difficult to have the two accounts (real and hobby one) in the same device because regardless it would link the followers. I noticed that, happened to me and it's not worth it. Plataform it's easier on twitter than instagram as far as tagging, replying, posting, etc...

I know you are really asking the gents and ladies that partake as clients their opinion but I would also urge us as providers to analyze our data.

If we have a website and are utilizing Google Analytics or some other platform to check data, it lets us know where most of our traffic is coming from. In addition, are we asking the question, "How did you find me?" during the booking process? If so, then we can notate that and possibly channel more of our energy and budget for marketing in that direction. From conversation with other providers, it appears as though Twitter is the outright winner in regards to "verifying" a provider. Instagram seems to just be the icing on the cake.

Yes, Twitter has been so amazing for me. The gifts I have received from random strangers have been seriously AMAZING and my regulars love keeping up to date and getting a good laugh when I get in a Twitter rant as I call it. It is wonderful for ME, but I am all about this is my life. I do not hide my face because I am "out" to my family. My motto now is you don't like what I do, that's for the person who does not like it to figure out how to like it - not for me to change how they think. I am a grown woman making a choice for what I need/want in my life. Not hiding this part of my life has let me feel less stress. Only thing I worry about is LE but since I am so out there- my screening to see me is extra extra strict.
I need to figure out IG asap.
Also snap chat ladies is a great thing. Of course somebody could video the conversation but I never allow any discussion of anything illegal on my snap chat, I am just a naughty lady having a sexy conversation when guys pay for a session.

Instagram only brought a different type of age group (that I am not interested in finding). Too many young people, too many college students.... I don't want to give free material to young guys to play themselves LOL (if you ask any teenager about this they would tell you "twitter and Facebook is for olde people"...

Twitter is more business people like. Older gentleman, professional.

I have analytics on my site, and other tools and another reason I decided against Insta.

The central question you're asking is, "how would guys validate a lady is good if TER was down?"

And guys legitimately want to have a good idea what to expect when they book with a lady. The review system on TER has its issues, but guys want detailed reviews because seeing a good provider is a major financial decision for many of us, so SOME type of review system is important. Providing that information is still the missing piece that prevents twitter/insta/p4/etc from replacing TER.

I'm on twitter/insta and follow a lot of ladies, so I'm starting to get it.  I think it will eventually go like this:

Instagram has pics and nearly always links to the provider's web page.
Ad sites like pee four give pricing and some idea of what a lady provides.
And then there's her own web page.
Twitter can be interesting, or just trivial and annoying, depending on what the provider posts.

But none of these have "reviews". I think eventually, the social media substitute for reviews will be clients contacting the followers that providers have on their twitter or insta feeds. It's not the same as TER reviews, but face it, the world is moving towards social media and away from centralized web pages. And contacting a provider's twitter followers for a "What's she really like?" question is not that different than the TER pms already in common usage here.

Eventually Twitter will be bought out. The company that takes it over will almost certainly get rid of the adult portion. I would not count on social media being adult friendly forever.

if TER ever disappeared, which I doubt it would.

If I was a client (not like I haven't been a few times), there is NO way I'd book with anyone without reviews somewhere and it would have to be a reliable site. I absolutely wouldn't book period. Not into wasting my money or getting into a rob/B&S or any other bad situation.

Twitter may help me once I am already considering someone, as it helps me see their personality (mainly, unless she is being fake to get business... which it's not like you can't tell if she's being too sweet). Personality is quite important to me whether I book or not. I am interested in plenty, but that seals the deal.

I still like the idea of review sites because they help guys answer the "stupid" questions before they come at my inbox, lol. However, this site has changed a lot and many men are making more use of social media...
