I don't post much.  I am a semi-old fart.  I have been using the "classic or original " since you rocked my world with this damn new site.  Today, I logged on and the link for the original site is gone, so now I have to navigate this rediculaus new site.  I am going to have to think long and hard when my VIP membership expires.  Anybody feel the same?

... to the new site, with more time to work the bugs and rough spots out, but I've acclamated to the new site now.  It does have some advantages, although all in all I prefer the UI of the old site.

It was a bit rocky in the beginning but I have definitely acclimated to the new TER and throughly enjoy it.

You might think long and hard, but your dick is going to think longer and harder.

Fact is, TER has you by the balls. There's no adequate replacement, or really anything that even comes close.
I get why you'd be salty about that, but realistically, you'll bellyache for awhile, then you'll get used to it.

...they have us by the balls. I still post here and there but have stopped writing reviews after their inane/insane rules change. Not that the rules were good before.

perhaps because I use it primarily on a smartphone or tablet? But the discussion board blows the most. It discourages me from wanting to swing by to just casually read it. But you can never dispute the value of it's reviews and the distribution of provider's info.

I'll always want to keep my membership for that AND it's capacity to help me play safe.

But the "Classic" format didn't suck on Android. SMS

...just because it's a change.

Once you get used to it, the new system isn't all that difficult to navigate. Yes, some folks are put out by the changes to the scoring changes, as well. As with anything in the commercial world, if you find another product you like better, you're free to take your money elsewhere.

So far, I haven't found another site/service that provides what TER provides at this level for the money. And yes, I'm an old fart and generally don't like change -- but show me a better alternative to TER.

Doesn't go well with my IPhone...But whatcha gonna do? In time I'm sure I'll adapt, I've done it before and I'm sure I'll do it again. But man, the older I get the less tolerate I find myself.

LOL ... I'm too old for that.
Maybe your senior handle can be ..... Notashpygolky?

ever count on is change. Software always changes. Apps always change. I'm used to the new site now. I don't even remember the classic version anymore.

Has anyone ever seen a software upgrade that was an improvement?

I have to say no.

Get over it. It changed. Deal with it. SMDH.

I appreciate your valuable input !

TER is the best and probably will always be.  Give Admin suggestions.

Mine:  Don't bump a thread to the top when there is a reply.  Keep threads in the order of the OP.

In the tree mode, it is still chronological.

That is the one change that I think is an improvement.  I can now quickly review all new posts to see if I am interested in pursuing them, then go to tree mode and surf as accustomed to.

I agree with the utility of allowing to easily see which threads are active.

Such a facility does tend to concentrate activity in a few threads -- which may be good or bad.  On the bad side it'll probably prolong pissing contests.

This is the fourth major update since 2004, and it's taken getting used to each time.  Rather than complain, I just adapt...

But honestly I've got used to this new format surprisingly quickly for a luddite:)

While I am not particularly keen on change when it comes to the format of a website I utilize regularly, I find TER's new format to be relatively painless to navigate.
