Actually no I wasn't, but with NEW TER keeping all threads with current replies on the front page, might this not be a good way to keep an ongoing thread about which women (and men under a separate thread) are flaking out on appointments?

Every time someone pulls a NCNS instead of posting a new thread about it which typically drops off the first page and is forgotten about in a week or so, this could be an ongoing thread where the guys  (and girls) could just take a quick peek before booking a session to see if the provider/client has a prior reputation for being a flake.

All this would take is for someone on each regional board to start such a thread and then it could be self sustaining.

Your thoughts, if any?

but like anything else, it can be exploited by asshats to harass gals they have a beef with.

Perhaps before TER puts a scarlet N on a gal, they should conduct a little investigation and see if the charge makes sense.   Parties can submit emails or texts to TER to make their case.   (I'm sure TER's pussy is getting wet thinking about how much fun this will be for them.)

And I suppose as fair is fair, gals should be able to lodge the same charges against any client who pulls the same shit.

All I am suggesting is that instead of a hundred different "warnings" that get forgotten about in a few days, we put them all on one thread (on each regional board that is) or maybe two, one for the guys the other for the girls, this is a universal problem, as both guys and girls are guilty of this kind of rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional behavior.

while well intentioned, is not practical for a lot of reasons.

I'm surprised you even dreamt this idea up.

I wasn't PUI when I posted this, but I am now. So PLEASE, tell me exactly why this won't work.

This would be an improvement over the current situation and could work, but it is temporary at best.  There should be a button or something to click on when you are looking at a provider's profile.  Similar to the Report a Problem or Add To Favorites, etc.  Maybe report a scheduling issue.  Then you either chose from among 3 or so options or write a few sentences (which ever is more appropriate).  Similar to reviews the report would be associated with your handle or alias.  That would ensure some sort of accountability and similar to reviews folks could determine how to assign credibility.  When looking at a profile, perhaps there could be a click here to see scheduling or pre-appointment issues or something. Then when a person clicks on that they either see a tally and/or it looks like a thread on one of the boards.  This is a review site for ladies so I don't care about it not being equitable for ladies and all of that.

I have no delusions about TER ever creating a new system to deal with NCNS, we've been begging for "something" for years to no avail.

What I am suggesting could be done using the existing software with NO changes by TER at all. All it would take is the members using what we've got today. Of course it's not a perfect fix, it's something we'd be doing with no help whatsoever from TER, but it would at least be a way to keep a list of offenders on the first page where it can do some good.

I have only had one NCNS but the impact was I wasted a very rare day when I am free and clear. It really made me upset. The  worst thing was the person in question who was highly reviewed and regarded here delisted and I had no way to hold her accountable...

Whenever I set up a session with a well established lady, I always felt sure she would show up.  We would have multiple emails or conversations beforehand so I wouldn't really worry about a lady here that has a solid history.

On the other hand, when I see a newbie, I hedge my bets and consider a plan B in case she flakes.  I know there is a strong possibility that a lady without many reviews could NCNS, so I plan for it.  I'm angry for about 30 minutes, then I forget about it.

Now, your suggestion would prolly apply to a certain group of ladies and I think we all are a bit suspicious about them anyway.  Chicks that routinely NCNS come and go once they wear out their welcome.  I think your suggestion would expedite their departure.  But WTF do I know?

Experienced a NCNS recently from a well-reviewed provider and having another user also mention that this was typical of this provider but I hadn't seen any thread that related to her NCNS, I do agree that there is a need for such a thread.

Only suggestion I'd make is - have a 3 day waiting period OR when parties have contacted with a reason, whichever is earlier.

That gives time for emergency situations that can sometimes crop up.

Starting to listen to the "gullible" one. It suits you.

Whose post are you referring to as 'gullible'? and why? :-)

I don’t think it would work.  First of all, isn’t the whole purpose of TER to help gents avoid that situation?  It doesn’t seem like NCNS happen often enough to keep the thread on the front page, so people would have to hunt for it on page 2 or 3 or even deeper.

Next, I think a lot of NCNS go unreported either due to embarrassment or apathy.

Also consider the potential of one train wreck after another as vindictive guys.gals try to ruin each other’s reputation without TER or anyone else able to readily verify the truth of the accusations.  While it would undoubtedly be entertaining, I doubt it would achieve your intended  purpose.
