Do hobbisyt actually look at providers calendars?

I'm thinking about adding a calendar to my site and so would like feed back on whether or not potential clients utilize it and find it useful or is it just another page that gets bypassed?

I love the calendar.  Cuts down on the e-mails such as are you going to be around.  Helps with my planning.  I wish more touring ladies had it on there website.  Probably helps on your end as well to cut down on the ‘hey babe, you in town?’

If the info is in your ad, that's the way I'll get it.  It's only after that, that I'll go to your site and at that point I don't need the calendar info.  In fact, when I've looked at calendars they often have out of date info.
That said, if someone gets to your site another way, the calendar may prove useful, assuming the info is current.

....problem is they rarely are up to date says it all.

I've become blase' about looking at them, because so many that have calendars, don't actually keep them up to date.

A schedule page instead of a calendar. Miss Gabriella Mancini has one that list touring dates and times, otherwise available at home times. That is more work but also more information and shows a level of commitment to her business that a calendar does not.

I do all the time... more often then not they are not up to date

a website yet alone look at a calendar. I look at the pictures and read her reviews when deciding to book.   Too many girls have old/original information on their websites and blank calendars.

I do get appointment requests based upon my calendar - and it surprises me every time!  It seems to be most useful for clients who have already seen me and are keeping track of my incall availability, but I do get the occasional calendar-related request from new clients as well.

Having a calendar has kind of been a boon for repeat business. I've had my website up for about two months and the number of past clients contacting with the "when will you be back" email has dropped like a rock, people seem to be using that as a foto instead of asking. My website metrics also show that in data. My photos section is the most visited, followed by my calendar and rate table (my rates vary by city).

I also have gotten a ton of random new clients that have utilized it.

then I will check the calendar on her website to be sure she is in the area rather than traveling somewhere.

With touring ladies, the dates she is available in your area are listed in her ad.

When will they be in Boston?  I've already screened, just waiting for them to arrive.

I read the ones in P411
They on average they seem more up to date
In general though am looking to see if local provider is out of town or Home

I check their calendars if they have one.

Sorry... couldn't resist that.  :)

Calendars are useful to me if only to give me an idea that the provider MIGHT be available, so I can avoid wasting her time and mine contacting her about a specific date if I see on her calendar that she's not available that day.  If it looks like she might be available, I'll go ahead and ask.

And since calendars on P411 or the provider's web site are probably not directly linked to her scheduling calendar (but may be?), I assume the calendar I see may not be up to date.  But it's better than nothing, and I know some providers who do a good job keeping their published calendars updated, to the extent that if they say they're available on a given date, they almost always are when I contact them.

But like others here, the ones on the websites are rarely kept up to date. If I was a provider, it's just good advertisement to do so. The ladies on P411 generally keep them up. I don't like to waste their time or mine if they are not around. Saves me time and theirs too if they are current.

Yes , they are GREAT , IF they are up to date regularily!!

For all the replies, so the general consensus is yes calendars are useful and you check them out, just make sure it's up to date.

...for planning. I wish TER has an option for the ladies to enter their schedule (not just written on their headline, but an actual calendar). This way I can search by date (from and to) for planning.

and many are tentative... but if a request of a regular client comes up, I most likely change it.. u know that :)

People have post to S&P about adding some sort of calendar feature to TER.  I think the easiest way to do it is with an open source calendar interface and some refinements, based on consensus. 2 week max or 1 month max? Or longer? One calendar per Region? One unified calendar but with filters (e.g., city or region; date limits (TODAY!)).  Basically, a regular grid calendar (M-S across; weeks 1-4 down) and Providers enter their info into box.  View a box full of hot links to Who's Available.
.

All,

I have calendar of course on P411, and I have one on website as well.

I have never found a way to link multiple calendars. I try update both Calendar weekly. I find many inquiries come from looking at my calendar and find it very helpful.

If I get a straight email or text that is obvious they did not look my calendar, I ignore them. If I can go through trouble of keeping my calendars up to date, guys can make effort to at least check it.

Christine

I also check if they have posted any information about tours or vacations as I tend to schedule in advance.

I knew an escort that was so old she was still using a Julian calendar ... rimshot.

The calendars are a great resource, especially for guys who like to schedule sessions far in advance.

but only for two to three weeks out.

Better question is do providers update their calendars?  IMHO most don't update their website calendars, and I have to go to TER or P411 to get the updated schedule.

Yes. The calendar is a very useful tool for hobbyists. I enjoy photos, look book, visuals, videos, portfolios, about me, likes, dislikes etc. but my favorite part of any provider’s Web page is simply the word “ENTER”.

... I tour quite a bit so if they want to know where I am (or will be) they kind of need to.

Yes, they're very handy but so many ladies start a calendar but then don't keep it up-to-date.  Probably in part because many clients don't bother checking it and for other reasons.

If it's someone I intend on meeting . I can see  when she will be in an area near me.
