Providers seeing providers

So I don't think it's any big secret that providers see other providers as clients themselves, though factors outside the average client/provider relationships are a bit different (chalk it up to providers being a bit jaded by what we do, or just a better ability to see through bullshit?).

As it stands right now, there's no way for a provider to review another provider. A system where that's possible seems pretty ripe for abuse by less than honest providers looking to game the system.

This question is for both providers and clients... if you could have a review system that allows this, how would it work? How would you stop system abuse, and would it be different than the current review model?

Actually I would suggest that if such a system were ever to be created that clients wouldn't even have access to such a board. That would be the only way I can think of to stop unscrupulous providers, or groups of providers for making a complete mockery of the review system.

There are already many "groups" of providers who act in tandem with each other, can you even imagine if they were allowed to review each other. Every single one of them would immediately vault to the top of the "top lists" The larger the group, the better able they would be to game the system.

Sadly, I don't see an answer to your question, or at least I don't see one that would be workable. The number of legitimate provider/provider reviews is simply to small to warrant it's own board and to allow providers to also be reviewers would simply be untenable

I think you'd likely be surprised how many providers are seeing other providers. We just don't really talk about it; it's seems kind of like a dirty little secret in our community.

Anyway, I agree that as the current review model stands, it would likely be unworkable as there's just too much incentive to abuse it. Thinking about it though, a separate system that would eliminate that incentive seems like it could be. Food for thought I guess...

There are review sites that don't use numerical scores, so we know that works.  Here, the numerical system has been corrupted but isn't going away.  So divorcing provider reviews of other providers from the numerical system would minimize the chance of abuse.  You'd just have the Basic and Juicy Details and readers could judge them as they wish.
Personally, I'd love to read TerriLynn's review of a hot session with RiverStark.

Your idea would de-incentivize providers from engaging in a quid pro quo exchange of reviews and since there would be no scores the provider/provider reviews would have zero effect on elevating them on the "top lists". Plus as you also mention it would provide some titillating reading for you guys into that kind of thing.

I'd also like to point out a couple of things I found noteworthy in this thread, Jake had a good idea and "Angry Tranny" doesn't seem so angry of late. Kudos to both of you, or at least to RS, Jake might have had a good idea, but he is still the same old Jake. He must have had just the right amount of alcohol in his system when he thought of that idea. lol But seriously, I have noticed a huge difference in tone from River Stark lately,

by climbing aboard his currently vacant high horse.  Oh, thats right!  You've been up there the whole time.

Just write a brief account as a story and post it to the Media and Erotic Lit Board.  Or, in some cases, the Erotic Humor Board. :-)

And, there is plenty of abuse already.

Personally, I'd love to read a review of a provider by another provider, but mostly for salacious reasons.

In any case, the volume of such reviews would probably be so low, that any serious effects on the system would be minimal.

I have offered my services to authenticate sessions many times before and I am waiting to work out the details with TER. I offer Provider-Client authentication (I was going to sit in on a session between Christine and lopaw), Secret Shopper Authentication, and other forms of authentication.

Re: I have the solution. I'll sit in on each session....
....... just to keep the ladies honest, of course!

Coming from a criminal country ya never know.

Along with the review being submitted, some proof it actually took place? Nah, it will never work. Some will find a way to game the system.  It would be really nice because some of us are truly hi! πŸ˜€ I've had ex providers book me with their SOs.
Now, if we are talking just about providers seeing other providers,  I'd LOVE to have a session with you! Love your pics!!! Soooo HOT πŸ™„πŸ˜πŸ˜š YUMMMM! 😜

These are called cam shows and they are a dime a dozen.

Cool, I'll be the camera man. It'll be the latest on pornhub.
A little marketing and pow...... Stardom awaits.

I do understand why it is not allowed. I feel if I paid, I should be allowed to review BUT so many will try to game the system.

I have asked several times to be allowed to review ladies I have seen as a client. I am not able to do mini reviews either. Of course I somehow manage to throw a few posts out there, here and there, of who I enjoyed, as long as the other lady is fine with it. LMFAO.

I know from personal experience of being booked by other ladies that it does in fact happen. For most, they like to keep it private and they are more than welcome to doing the such.

The odd thing is, most providers won't mention to the other provider til afterwords, that they are also a provider. I could understand that for a variety of reasons. I state so in the first email that I am one so as to keep it honest. The last gal I saw wasn't sure if she wanted to meet at first... feeling as if I had the expectations too high, but we spoke about it and it worked well.

Us lady hobbyists who are not also providers would only post reviews in the regular section as we do now. I would not want nor expect access to a provider review section simply because I am a woman.
Personally I would like to see providers reviewing other providers right along side of us mongers in the regular review area.

The problem I see are girls writing others fake reviews (it already happens now with no provider review system) to influence their ratings? I think it'd be possible to have a separate review system that piggybacks off of the current one, but scoring/rating would need to be separate to deter abuse. If writing a review does nothing to an overal rating, the incentive would be significantly reduced.

Is that what your illuding to, or are you talking no difference from current system?

It’s a slippery slope. I have nothing against it but I think it’s best to keep those memories to oneself. And if it’s a bad experience I wouldn’t want to shit on a colleague anyways. I take the experience as a learning experience and move on 😊
Brag about one’s conquers seems more like a guy thing anyhow.

I've been booked by fellow travelers on this path, and recently tried it myself as a client. The "juicy details" probably are fodder for literary wank material for the guys, and every time I've interacted that way with a provider I feel like I've added a few new tricks or insights into my own erotic toolbox, haha. "Talking shop" afterwards is something I've also found to be very enjoyable, and how much that's considered part of the service being paid for is probably open for debate.

As a trans woman, I've also been turned down (very politely) when attempting to book as a client.

Perhaps this is what River was getting at, but for me as a trans woman, reviews could conceivably help me avoid the awkwardness in trying to figure out exactly how much into femmes a provider might be, let alone femme trans women. But even that is subject to gaming and manipulation and I'd be worried that people would overthink a review by trying to figure out whether the lack of superlatives is somehow a negative.

Because of the dynamics (and discretion!) involved, there are really very few circumstances where I'd be comfortable saying, "I was ____'s client and we had an awesome, amazing time." Even though that might convey very useful information to other providers! But maybe that also reflects my attitude towards reviews in general, too.

Providers pay other providers to have sex with them? Why?
