Mikey is certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but lets judge him by a different metric. How many "friends" has OTM made here over the time he has been here and how many people will even remember him in a couple of years if he stops posting today?
Now look at the number of disparate friends Mikey has made who still are his friends years after his last post on TER. In just a few hours you have an asshole like me, a good guy like fish, an admitted mangina like Scoed, and another asshole like Jake welcoming him back. And these are just the people I know for a fact that have not only met him in person, but are close personal friends he met right here on TER, myself included.
Do you really think the likes of OTM is ever going to make lifelong friends here?
But I must subscribe to your post 100%. I will only add that Mikey is (self-admittedly) strong medicine and not everyone's cup of tea. Think Tazmanian Devil. But he's as real as it gets (too real sometimes) and as decent and loyal a friend as anyone could have.
As for OTM, I really don't mind him and agree with him a lot of the time. If he's got a bug up his ass about Mikey, well, he's not the only one. But it's their loss.

From what I remember most of his posts were deleted. His posts were like a grade school kid practicing his cuss words while drunk off his ass. He may have posted some useful information but there is a reason TER banned him.
To top it off he felt compelled to start TWO threADS announcing his triumphant return.
