Is there a doctor in the house?

Recently, a gentleman was chewing gum throughout the entire appointment.

When he did DATY, I began to feel tingly/sensitive and then uncomfortable.

I stopped him, noticed he still had the gum in his mouth, and asked him what kind it was because that had to be causing the strange sensation.  It was NICOTINE GUM.

He apologized and spit it out but we did not resume the DATY.

That strange sensation down there lingered for hours.  I'm guessing having nicotine on my genitalia is a bad idea but can it cause real issues?

Any serious risks or signs of a problem that I should look out for?

And I won't be back home with time to visit my Gyne until next week.  So yeah.... I thought someone here might have some useful info.  Excuse the hell out of me lol.

Stupid Nasty Asshole Retarded Dickhead?  NO.
Still Not A Real Doctor, but you worry too much.

(that is, the membrane that lines body cavities), so it's probably very similar to holding snuff or a nicotine lozenge in your mouth.  (Or nicotine gum for that matter, like your clueless client. Who chews gum during DATY? Or during sex at all? Kids these days.)

So the strange sensations are normal reactions, I'd say. By all means check with your doc at your convenience, but I don't expect there would be long-term effects, any more than there would be from trying snuff.

Just don't make a habit of it.  :-)

"Do you smoke after sex?"

"I don't know--I never looked!"

That makes sense, and from now on I'll simply ask my friends to spit out their gum at the beginning of the date.

And I love corny jokes like yours!!!

Stupidest person who ever lived. I'm left shaking my head that someone so intellectually impaired is out there in the world, pretending to be a person and not a fence post. It's scary to think about him driving, just for starters. Good grief.

I certainly hope you're okay, no long term effects. I think you will be.

And it's NOT on my penis.

It works both ways! I've had the ice cube BBBJ. The swig-of-warm-tea warm BBBJ. I haven't had a nicotine BBBJ. But I once had a hostess secretly put some peppermint oil in her mouth before taking me in. Holy fucking shit!
.
I fell in to a burning Ring of Fire.
She went down, down, down
And the pain it went higher.
And it burns, burns, burns.
The Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire.
.
I had to get into the shower for around 15 minutes to cool my fucker down.

A gent told me after a playdate that I had made him feel tingling sensations he had never felt before.  Much as I would have liked it to be the result of my amazing skills, I later realized that it must have been my peppermint lip gloss.  :)

Did you get sick? Gross.  Nicotine is pretty strong !  Just ask anyone who’s trying to stop smoking . Good luck and I’m glad you said something makes us all think to be careful.
Thanks

actually I am a pharmacist.  If the only effect was a slight tingling or sensation, I would say it was just a localized effect.  If you had absorbed any appreciable amount of nicotine, you would have actually felt it in increased heart rate and dry mouth.  Hmmm wonder if it would cause decreased secretions other places....maybe this is what you felt.
