I know I can be harsh at times, even an asshole, but I think everyone here knows I have a sense of fairplay and I don't have a "mean" bone in my body. So to everybody who spoke up today, friends and foes alike I would like to offer my sincere thanks for not simply remaining silient because it wasn't "your problem" and someone like GaGambler probably deserved what he got.
It's unfortunate that the biggest losers are the legitimate, honest and honorable providers who only screen in order to feel safe, I know that going forward, because of the acts of a few, it's going to be harder and harder to make clients believe their information is secure. I don't really know how to address that issue, but at least we can all rest assured that both TER and P 411 will step up and take action quickly if your information is comprimised. I know that might be small solace for someone more vulnerable to this type of thing than myself, but at least it's a start. Once again, to both TER Admin and Gina of P411 my most sincere thanks for having my back.

As for GaGa, he well knows I HATE to say anything nice about him but really must state the whole Twatter thing was a major bum rap. The worst you can say about the guy is, he's an equal-opportunity prick. And a political Neanderthal. But I know him as well as anyone here and he's about as far from a misogynist as you'll find. In fact, I've personally seen him be very supportive of the women in this world, both on TER and in other countries. He's actually quite generous.

I'm glad this indefensible behavior was quickly stopped in its tracks. It's not the first time I've seen TER and P411 take quick action when it was needed. And sometimes they act more slowly. But not today.
But as for your not having a "mean" bone in your body... that would be easier to believe if you didn't act sometimes as if you have a mean bone or three in your body. Those who don't know you personally only know you by your posts on TER. Think about those posts and whether any of them would seem "mean" to a reasonable person. Those posts are how much of the world forms its opinion of you. Just as you form your opinion of some people only from their posts.
I don't agree with outing (except for dangerous people) and those who do so have to be shunned, but if you constantly make enemies bad things are bound to happen.

That said, based on what I've read, it sounds like some nutjob took it upon themselves to attempt to "out" a client, which happens to be GaGambler in this instance. I don't know GG personally; have never me him/her (these days!?!?!?!). But my experience with this TER member is that s/he's very straightforward. Insofar as I know I've never been the object of GG's wrath, but it wouldn't matter. I don't care that GG thinks. It's entertainment value to me. I also gather that a provider somehow chimed in on this whole sordid affair, with a consequent that she was banned (proper term, i don't know) from TER and P411. If I have these basic facts right (nutjob attempts to out GG and a provider chimes in on the scheme) then kudos to TER and P411 for acting to remove this provider from the mix.
Bottom line is this: human beings have been fucking around from the beginning of, uh, what we call humanity. No nutjob or scheming provider is going to change that. Ever. The whole thing is so stunning. Perhaps in the same manner that Twatter is thinking of setting up a database of TER handles, TER should create a database of providers who are on that Twatter.
