how do you all feel about seeing a provider who hasn't had a review in a while?

How do all of you guys feel about seeing a provider for the first time who you've noticed hasn't had a review in a while? For all intents and purposes, lets discuss assuming that you can confirm that she hasn't left the business. Do you have any reservations if she hasn't been reviewed recently? And how new of a review would you consider to be recent vs too long ago?

ask her if she's been vacation awhile because you noticed she hasn't had any reviews recently.  The other explanations that I would be okay with is if she says she has only been seeing her regulars and not taking new customers in awhile, or had a surgery or something that put her out of action.  If you ask, you don't have to speculate.  Information is your friend when it comes to making decisions.

You're laughing out loud, or you're sending him lots of love? 😎

I'm going to assume the former since it's a lame question.

Laughing because I haven't been reviewed in a year, but thank god no one is obsessing about the hidden meanings. I mean I'm sure there's a lurker who is "uncomfortable" with the fact, but I wouldn't know. Things are business as usual for me.

Cultivate your ability to discern compatibility, communicate with whoever you're interested in, use all available resources. This is not the end all, be all. If the whole site was shut down tomorrow, you'd have to figure it out, so flex those investigative muscles.

xo

My last review was from several months ago. Shout-out to my friends who formulate their own opinions without obsessing over hobby culture and who are discerning enough to know how to read between the lines... or rather reviews. ;)

Agreed! Also some of us who live outside of big TER cities and don't tour very often, don't have the same opportunities to get reviews. TER in New Orleans is barely a whisper, especially if you are (like me) more of a niche provider. Most of my clients don't really do the hobbyist thing, or only see providers on a whim when visiting, once in a blue moon. Food for thought.

they have an otherwise iffy reputation, or the gap is substantial. I'm talking like 6 months or a year.

Recently I saw a provider who hadn't been reviewed 4 years. That's because I know her sister. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered.

I have a generous client who also hasn't asked me to take down my sites. Which has allowed me the freedom to not have to post or advertise frequently, but also remain visible to those who truly seek what I offer. Less is more, for sure!

Only have seen a handful of repeat clients since January, aside from only two new clients, just two weeks ago in fact. Quality of sessions are still the same, have been traveling a lot, about to go back to school and have been focused on other things than pursuing new clients. Most of whom don't review anyway. ;)

If you have concerns, ask her. Just say you noticed she hasn't had a new review in awhile and wanted to make sure she is still available.

I see a lot of SPs and I like to keep a regular but I enjoy the hunt for the next good one who I can connect with. Some have reviews but I use them to confirm my selection. My normal MO is to do a hour or two meet and greet then follow that with a dinner date then an overnight then travel dates. So reviews are nice but reviews are not a good indication if I will connect with her.

My relationships can go on for years when I find a good one. But most we part company after one meetbabd greet or one event.

But then again I seek more than just sex.

From my own experience. I work a normal corporate world job so I typically go UTR (under the radar). from time to time.  It's not that I am not necessarily active. It's just I'll hobby when I have time and my normal clientele knows how to always reach me when I'm not posting ads. I don't have much of a presence on TER, but I do on another. If you look at either site you'll see that there is a huge gap in reviews from 2010 to 2015.  I was still providing even though there were no reviews. One for me I went UTR and I kind of looked at it as... if someone wanted to see me and experience me they would come and find out for themselves not experience me via a review. Two a lot of men don't care to write reviews and we can't exactly force them. I think a huge reason why I don't have more TER members interested in seeing me is that they don't know if I'm real or not and I don't have any recent reviews on TER.  Hopefully I can change some minds.

I think there is another very recent and still active thread on this very board about clients who see ladies but don't write reviews. There are also some previous threads by providers literally trying to figure out how to incentivize review writing. These should give you some insight as to just how many guys on here are actively seeing ladies but not writing reviews.

People reach out to me and disclose their handles and they are active lurkers but have never written a review, but have been a member of the boards for many years. Some guys start out writing reviews and then just get tired and stop. But hey are still seeing ladies.

I've heard a few clients that review writing is a bit more time consuming than what they can manage. Some have a distaste for it. So they don't write them. Some only write them when a provider asks.

There are also many providers who do more in their personal time and are thus limited in schedule. Maybe they started school or a job/business or had other personal matters to deal with. So they are effectively a part time provider and see less clients than those who work full time and always have an incall location at their disposal. Therefore they receive even less reviews.

It is genuinely not "easy" for people to write reviews or for a lady to accumulate them.

All those factors considered, a lady who has not been reviewed recently (say within the last 90 days) but who is within the market rate for your city should not cause concern. Ladies over market rate probably see less clients (I say probably because this is not always necessarily true), and commensurate to how far above market rate they are, may often go even longer without reviews. If she hasn't had a review in over a 6 month time frame you may have some additional concerns but it's still no big deal up until *maybe* the year mark. Outside of that then I can certainly understand wondering about it, though I wouldn't say that concern is warranted either way.

Read her website and see if she mentions anything about her personal pursuits. Check her twitter if she has one and you can get an idea of what she's up to. If someone is still posting ads they are probably still seeing clients and especially if they are in placements on a site like Eros, they are making a consistent amount of money from seeing clients to justify their advertising efforts/expense. And even if they aren't... I agree with the above poster. Don't overthink things that happen on here.

Bottom line in my opinion is that some time without reviews shouldn't mean a whole lot. Hopefully some other gentlemen weigh in.

What is the incentive to write a review? I have gotten beaten up on boards for writing good reviews and the white knights have attacked me for bad reviews. I do not see much advantage in writing reviews unless the young lady is exceptional.

I find more bad results in writing them on boards and I have been banned by a number of boards as a result of my reviews.

I'd be more concerned if she hasn't put up recent photos.

In any case, I look at other factors when deciding.

i have seen some ladies that have not had any reviews foe over a year, all i can say is new reviews or no reviews does not mater to me. There are great ladies that do not want to be reviews any more. so take the chance ad see the lady

Either as a provider or in the USA, and believe it or not, there's a world outside America that doesn't know anything about TER!!
Not all of us are doing this work month in and month out so may have 5 reviews one month and none for three months. There's nothing necessarily sinister in it :)

Over the years I've seen a number of escorts who haven't been reviewed in awhile. It's always worked out just fine and sometimes writing that review  pays dividends. Providers appreciate it and it enhanced the dynamics of my relationship with that provider.

...it just makes me think that she is probably just seeing regulars.

to how recent reviews are. I simply make sure reviews are present.

I've never had a bad experience because a provider changed drastically between her last review and the time I saw her.

More important to me would be accurate and up-to-date pics.

I've gotten some good back channel info. A few of my favorites are sparsely reviewed but have decent business going and have been excellent ladies to play with.

Just because they are no recent reviews doesn't mean she's not busy.  Some of her clients may not be a part of review boards for whatever reasons.   Or they may have asked their clients not to post a review.  There are some ladies I've seen before that don't have any recent reviews but they are active here on TER.

Yes and some of the best SPs top clients do not want to read about her adventures. I had one of my ATF SPs ask me to take down my reviews because a few of her high rollers did not want to read about my adventures with her. So once they become successful they will pull back from reviews so it does not upset her top clients.

Beyond researching to ensure that a lady offers the kind of experience you will like, I'm not sure why *most* guys here want to read about a lady's previous lovers.

Also accurate are the responses pointing out that not all of us operate in TER represented regions (I'm a rural chick, lol) and that a very low percentage of our gentlemen review (I primarily see the same gentlemen over and over again, but still less than 1% of my dates end in a review or even an update of an older review). I participate in the boards a fair bit, but I've never asked for reviews. As a result, guys usually just review me when they are traveling and need to build up *their* persona or earn the complimentary VIP access. I get perhaps 1-2 reviews a year.

The only reviews I *really* look forward to are my doubles reviews, as they display which ladies I enjoy playing with :)

The review fantasy.....thank you :)

Some of you gentlemen act like we have control over reviews and when a gent writes it.

Let me be even clearer, I for one am not on anybody's top hundred list. I'm a cozy 7/10....not part of the crowd where quys can't wait to review them.

I don't choke, poke or blackmail for reviews. I just do me. If a guy wants to pass me up because I don't have nice and shiny reviews posted weekly or monthly....well see ya.

And for crying out loud, people lie in reviews, buy reviews and write their own reviews.....

Food for thought

I want to know that the lady I am going to see looks like the lady in the pictures.  Too often, I meet the lady and she is much heavier or older than her pictures portray.  A recent review will let me know about that. It doesn't have to be from last week, but the more recent the better.

Plus, what's good for the goose is good for the gander, I say.  I took an extended break from the hobby due to a relationship.  When I returned, I had a hard time getting verified by anyone I wanted to see because my OKs on P411 were old.  I was safe back then, and I was just as safe when I returned.  The cops aren't really recruiting many late 40s guys into their rookie class.

So if I need recent reviews, so does the lady.  It's only fair :)

I would agree.  Why would I take a chance with a lady that haven't had a review in 6 or more months over a lady with very good or excellent and recent reviews.  Most providers want to see a client's most recent references.  A person can change a lot in 6 months or a year.  I go with the most recent provider each time.
