Even if you never tell a provider your TER name, there are SOOOOOO many ways for her to find out. Its called good screening abilities.

making veiled threats to "find out where I am staying to teach me a lesson." Some guys are annoying while some are straight up a danger to the community. I guess it depends on the provider to decide which is which. If all they are blacklisting is your handle, no harm done. Women will still see a guy who is blacklisted.

@ the poster above...it makes perfect sense to blacklist someone who has made threats. Should we wait til he calls the cops on us or tries to harm us in person? Men are blacklisted all the time for NCNS, but I would never use real info for something such as that. Shorting, ROBs, threats, assault, all warrant a true blacklist. Being annoying or writing a not so good review, does NOT warrant a guy's life being ruined!

In the view of most clients and providers, blacklists should be used only for clients who stalk, rob, don't pay, threaten, etc.  It is never correct for a provider to blacklist a client for NS/NC.  She certainly should put him on her own DNS list and even alert her friends, but blacklisting or outing is a major no-no for this kind of offense.

If the correspondence is harassing, or threatening, blacklisting is appropriate.  However, makes sure it really is.  Alas, some women have a hair trigger.  In my early hobbying days, I knew there was a good chance of being sent to another city for a week.  Well, I went to handy dandy TER, did some research and saved the URLs of the personal web site of three of the ladies I might want to see.  Three months later, I was being sent.  I relooked at the web sites, choose the lady who seemed most promising, and filled out her web form with two references.   I got an email back asking how she found me.  I had not relooked at her TER page.  She had gone under the radar, and delisted her self from all escort sites.  Her personal page was still up.  I wrote back that I had saved the URL of her web site on my FireFox three months ago in a candidate list. She wrote both of the references I provided that I was a stalker who maintained a hooker list.  Took a bit of doing to mend fences with both ladies.  Once they realized what happened, they got a good laugh.  Needless to say, number two was engaged on that trip, and my world was rocked.

Some providers and agency owners use it as a threat. Providers and agency owners hallucinate everyone else in the business takes their word seriously. Truth is while providers and agencies hold hands and sing kumbaya in public, most of them don’t like each other and are directly in competition with each other.

Suppose, it makes them powerful. It doesn’t work those who have been in the hobby for while. Another funny thing is that most hobbyists stick around longer than providers so who has better record.

Jerks and assholes excluded and their reputations precedes them everywhere before they arrive.

well, some hobbyists cancel all the time others threaten the girl "see me or i post a bad review", etc etc. If a guy can post on a board about a no show why a girl can't do the same on those boards?..it is a 2 way street.
