I was planning to see a provider who was touring in my city for a 12 day stay. I had checked her Eros ad and TER reviews a few weeks before her arrival. Everything looked good so on the second day of her stay I decided to book a date. While checking her ad for the phone number I noticed she had raised her rate. I was really disappointed because she was now out of my price range.
I realize providers can raise their rates whenever they choose but in the middle of a tour doesn't seem like the best time. Is this a common practice? Maybe her phone was ringing nonstop and she wanted some breathing room? Has this happened to anyone else?We don't know her home base nor your city. Personal websites of touring Providers will often make clear that they charge different rates for different cities. They might charge more when visiting expensive cities (hotel rates, restaurant meals) like NYC, SF, etc. Did her personal website (does she have one) make that clear, as compared to an ad which has a shorter lifetime.

Did she actually change the rate while visiting your city or did she change it the day (or more) before arrival? Once again, a timing / touring / city thing: Her current ad while in Tinytown says $$. Then, she travels one day to Priceytown and updates her fee to $$$. When she goes back home to Tinytown she changes her ad back to $$.

Best advices for now: (1) save up some more dough so you can see her the next time (2) do not sweat or regret missing her on this trip (3) there are probably plenty of other well reviewed Providers in your area at your price point. Good luck!

Most ladies when on tour charge that rate to cover
the extra expenses that they are dealing with..
I would think that a touring lady is not going to increase
touring rates while she is on tour..Not a good business practice

This is exactly why you should book a lady sooner rather than later (of course, being mindful of you own schedule and the feasibility of you making the date). Yes, this does happen. Sometimes ladies announce a tour and then do research and realize they can command more in that market, so they adjust their rates.
I can't speak for all ladies, but I do try to be fair in my business. When I raise my rates, anyone who is already booked I will honor at the rate published at the time of booking- no matter the differential. Had you already set up your date, it is possible she would have seen you at her normal rate if you politely mentioned it.

I would agree with this. If you booked and then she raised her rates, I don't think it would be out of line at all to inquire politely about being able to see her at the old rate.
If you failed to see that she has a different rate for touring, I think you're out of luck. But I don't think that's what happened here.
To be honest, once I actually book an appointment time, I might not even look at the website again. I don't do this enough that i don't remember what I agreed to pay her.
I could totally see myself showing up and having the lower donation amount and being unaware that the rate had changed and that I had left the "wrong amount"
Saw a lady over the course of a couple of years and in that time her rate went from 5 to 8. Good news is she was absolutely worth it at 8. One of the 5 best paid fucks I've ever had in 25+ years of mongering.
