How wrong would it be Scenario 2...

Still in Vegas. Checking out recent reviews on TER. I find a provider with only one review. Her photos are actually of a very well reviewed higher-end provider that I met once a few years ago.

Assuming it's really her and she's operating under two different personas, is it ok to book the cheaper version?

If she shows up and its not the same girl it would be wrong to not pay and tell the girl you aren't interested.

If I book a session with a provider and the woman who shows up looks nothing like her pics, you're damn right I am not going through with the session, nor am I going to give her a single red cent for her attempt to deceive me.

Now if it's not the "high priced girl" I was expecting, but she looked at least reasonably close to the pics on her ad, I can't see myself turning her away.

I did that once with an escort here in NY. We talked about it and she said she wants to offer a cheaper service to a different clientelle without ruining her “brand” name. Makes sense to me.

I know of a couple of Las Vegas ladies complaining about that happening lately.

Have we met you look very famiar did you go by a different name before?

And how much cheaper is it now? If you book only to find out it’s not who you thought and she stole the pics walk away.

Many  many years ago while in Vegas I saw an ad for Tera Patrick the Porn Star. I knew she was having issues with her contract back then and thought I might get lucky. I made contact and also made it very clear I know who Tera Patrick is and if the pics used where not hers I would close the door on her. I was assured it was.

Well when the knock came I opened it to see one super hot looking girl, but it wasn’t Tera. I gave her a $20 said sorry then closed the door cussing at myself for turning the bait and switch away.

Within an hour I found another and had my fun that night.

some other opinions if it turned out the provider who shows up is not the one in the pics I’d have no problem turning down the service. I’m way past that shit! Show me who I’m going to meet, if you want me to meet with you.

...it's not a choice of okay or not, or how wrong it would be, but one of how much risk are you willing to take and are you prepared to walk if it's not her.

...it's called "having a second label."

High-end winery has a brand (Brand A) that they've spent years and a lot of marketing dollars building into a brand that sells out every year -- but it's limited because it's the "best of the best" of the grapes they have to offer.

Now having built a successful enterprise, they are able to get access to some really good grapes and they have some additional processing capacity -- so they create a second label (Brand B), a brand it and of itself, in order to take advantage of the contacts, infrastructure and sales capacity that they have put together.

Generally, most folks would expect a good wine (B) but not the spectacular wine they get from Brand A -- but then Brand B is considerably more expensive. The top 5% of the wine buying market will still buy all of Brand A that they produce but now they have a second revenue stream from Brand B -- and they didn't have to "reinvent the wheel" to generate additional income.

As long as the client is happy with the Brand B experience, why not?

The escort business, for example is such a case.

Also, think outlet stores, where storied brands like Gucci and Burberry can sell for up to half of what you would pay in one of their downtown retail stores.

There's no reason to expect this business to be any different.

I suspect multiple provider personalities are far more common than you would expect.  I've run across a few ladies in my city that have a "brand" (Brand A) as an independent who separately work for an agency under a different name (Brand B).  It's all great if you don't know about it.  It is also great if you buy Brand B and then realize you are really getting Brand A at a good price.  But if you buy Brand A and then later realize that others have access to the same lady at a lower price (Brand B), it kills the friendship.

Did the one review say she *is* the girl in the pictures?
.
I don't think a provider could keep up the 2-brands, 2-prices thing for any length of time without word getting out  among clients. The fact that she would do that is an indication that her premium brand is not getting enough business.
.
Some years back I knew a girl who used different versions of her name in different advertising (BP vs. Eros) and her advertising pitch was different. She also used different pictures (all definitely her). She said it was because the BP and Eros clienteles were different and knowing how johns were finding her was useful info. The prices/experiences were the same, and she wasn't trying to hide that it was the same girl (she had just one website, TER profile, etc.).
