9th circuit will allow lawsuit to proceed challenging California law that banned prostitution. Citing a Supreme Court decision in support of "consensual sex"

Then I'm all for it! Having sex to support your family and put a roof over your head shouldn't be a criminal act. Hell, wives do the same thing . . . sometimes. 😂

Leaving California because of oppressive taxation, somebody does something like this to make me put it off a little longer.

... of the CA Deputy Attorney General that "'The state is not telling anyone who they can sleep with,' she said, but noted that banning prostitution was 'an easy place to draw the line' to protect against violence, drug use and trafficking."

Great!  Let's apply that same logic elsewhere!  For example:

* Boxing, kick boxing, football, ice hockey etc. need to be banned to protect people from violence.  Many people are injured and some are killed each year due to these violent activities.
* All prescription opioids must be outlawed, as they lead to drug addiction.
* Employers must be prohibited from hiring anyone under the age of 25, to help prevent against hiring and abuse of minors in the workplace.

If prostitution were legal there would be LESS violence, not more. The same could be said for trafficking, and I don't see how drug use would be effected at al.

Hookers (and johns) can't call the cops, or at least are afraid to if they are robbed, beaten or even raped. That is not the case in place where prostitution is legal.

The CA DAG is an idiot, but lets give Californians props for even getting this far.
