Hi guys! I'm fairly new to TER. Not so new at providing, but TER just isn't so active in the DFW.
So I'm currently applying for graduate school. And my TOP CHOICES ARE: Austin, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, and remaining in the DFW. Now I would like to move around, and get out of Dallas, but the option for me to stay is still on the table.
Now this would be easier if I wasn't doing a PhD, that will require me to teach (TA or Research Assistant). Meaning I will get paid a measly salary and will rely heavily off of my income for providing. Now, I'm fine with that, BUT I want to make sure I move to a great city to provide in!
So my question is, which of these cities has the best hobby scene? Particularly for a lady with my aesthetic..
I know many will have different opinions, but I would love some great input.  Have you been to the city? Do they have meet and greets? Is apartment rent ok there? Stuff like that guys....

if those are the only options I would choose Chicago and them Atlanta.. nowhere in TX

Atlanta used to be good. Not for the past year. Visiting providers are making a killing since the local talent completely dried on December 2016.

Used to 200 + adds on eros, take look now. You will see most are visiting providers. Got into the sugar game, much better scene.

lol completely dried up!!?
I will say, I've wondered how Atlanta had much of a hobby scene... with so many schools & naturally hot RW ladies. I'd always imagined the sugar dating scene to be where it's at.
Nevertheless, 2 of my top school choices are there. And I would think COL may be lower than Chicago.

Yea staying Texas are the lower end of what I want to do.

climate than Chicago while Houston  and Austin will have the same challenges as DFW metroplex.

When you have questions about a graduate program, the people in the department office are accustomed to answering lots of Qs from applicants and those who have accepted offers.
- Does the university provide low-cost graduate housing?
- How is the parking situation near the building? How much is parking for grad students?
- What is the hooker scene like near the university?
- Are grad students allowed to use the gym?
- What are the average hourly rates for 21-30 yo escorts in your city?
- Is there a cafeteria near the department building?
- How is the escort business in your city, in general?
- Am I allowed to bring my pet dog to the grad student offices during the day?
- Do the hobby clients in your city tend to use TER?
- Does public transit or shuttle buses stop near the department?
- Do the faculty and students and staff in the department tend to use TER?

Why are you assuming that the college staff are going to know about the local escort scene, TER,  etc?  Only if they're involved in the scene themselves.

Lmao now many of those questions will have me exposing myself! But you bring up a great point! A lot of these I hadn't thought to ask myself!

Why would you suggest she ask about escorting rates? Bad advice! Wow!

Great list, but you should have used a smiley in your post, because some people here are immune to sarcasm.

Somehow, I didn't think a smiley was necessary, but I guess I was wrong!

Just kidding! The Chairman Hobbiest is NOT going to admit to anything! :-)

Another question: "Are there lots of well-reviewed local providers, or have they all moved to the sugar bowl?"

Does that really happen? I thought the sugar bowl was just a starting point, a gateway. At least it was for me.

I was just kidding, too. I have no insights on the hobby scene in the places you're considering for school, or any experience with the sugar scene.

If you've always lived in Texas and other places with warmer climates, you might think twice about Chicago, even if it checks off some other boxes. You might be fine, but some people just can't deal with the northern winters.

Good luck.
