Suggestion and Policy

Two apologies.  One, I may be wrong but I thought there was a suggestion box, but now I can't find it so I'm here.  Two, I never post in "suggestion and policy" so my apologies if what I say has been said a million times before.

Suggestion: when we write a review, don't make us fill out the whole damn thing.........because, you never update any changes.  Not price.  Not implants.  Not anything so far as I can tell.  For example, I've known a provider who has had implants for a year and it still says that's not the case.  Another example, I know a provider who has raised her rate and when I wrote a review, no update of that fact.  So why make us do it?

It takes quite some time to fill out a review like it's the first one.  For a provider with reviews, why make us do all that every time if it makes no difference???

So annoying.

(And if I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about and there is a shortcut I don't know about, my apologies for that too!)

One of your suggestions seems to be about "auto-population" of the fields on the review form. Put in a TER ID number and everything will be there, from name to height to CIM yes/no.  We don't have an official answer, but people seem to think that autopopulate would make it even easier to post fake reviews and manual entry is a bit of a deterrent to that and TER wants to deter fakes.

On the second Q about your information not automatically replacing current info, I have my own theory (and hope). Your manually entered info is kept as a part of your non-public review (see your reviews using My Reviews and not your review using "View" under a given Profile). When it comes time to change a Profile via a Problem Report, my hope is the TER Admin can refer to the detailed info submitted (manually) by each reviewer and make changes as necessary.

If one (latest) reviewer says "implants" and asks TER to make the change in the Profile, they might be reluctant to do so based on one say-so. If the last several reviewers all entered "implants" manually then it is much easier to trust the Problem Reporter and update the Profile accordingly.

It could even help to reveal fake reviews. If recent honest reviewers all entered "implants YES," contrary to the current Profile, a fake reviewer might unknowingly enter "implants NO" exposing that he never really saw the Provider or her new implants.

And this leads to the obvious Q: Why not (1) auto-populate the review form and (2) require or request that reviewers manually change those fields that differ from the current info (e.g., implants or service offerings).

I don't know the answer to that. But PLEASE keep entering info that you believe to be correct because I do think it helps to get Profiles updated even if it is weeks or longer after the fact.

Additionally why has admin blocked BACKPAGE.com  for the provider's ad - It is a required field so you have to do a google search of her phone to find a site that has just copied he BP ad such as SKIPS??? site that TER creates.
