Many boards I visit have a new posts feature that allow you to filter topics with new posts and/or bump topics with recent activity to the top of the list.  This feature keeps interesting topics in front of the audience and promotes more interaction.

I find it hard to keep up with topics I have replied to since they may be several pages down and hard to find in a day or two.

and it was a disaster. It was one of the first features removed to make the new site functional.

It might work well for other types of sites but not for this site and the topics we discuss.

My advice is to use the search function on the board you want as it works fairly well. Use your handle and go back seven days or so.

Another possibility would be to go to your account manager and there feature which allows you to receive an email every time a message you post receives a response. Try that by checking the box next to it.
