I have to admit that I get pretty flustered at times with TER's unwritten rules/criteria. I've been trying to gain access to the reviewers only board and I meet the written criteria that TER lists which is a minimum of 10 reviews. I've been denied for not having enough posts on the discussion boards. Why doesn't TER list a minimum board posting as part of the criteria to gain access to the reviewers only board?
There are also unwritten policies on posting the websites of providers who advertise on their competitors website such as Backpage. I've spent 30 minutes writing up a review then hitting the submit button only to have my review rejected for listing Backpage. Listing a providers website is a mandatory field for a review so why not provide us with a list of unacceptable websites so that we (the hobbyists) don't waste our time with writing out the whole review only to have it rejected.I'm sure that I'm will take flack for the subject but I thought I'd throw it out there.
If it went through to admin and they rejected for that reason, it's not gone. It's not like you have to type it up again. You have to make the necessary edits and resubmit it. If she's on bp, she's probably on a scraper somewhere that admin will be fine with. Put her phone number in a search engine.
Check postfastr for her ad. Maybe admin will be okay with that.
I'm now the leading poster on the San Diego,discussion board yet the staff is still denying me access to the reviewers only board. I was denied access in the past for not participating in the discussion boards so now I go beyond what is expected but the staff is being pompous. What a crock of shit.
Unless name-calling the same people who must approve you on the RO Board sounds smart to you. Why not instead try posting on the General Board and other discussion boards?
Also, while I'm not on the RO board at the moment I have been a member in the past for years. You're not missing much.
For clarification, I was referring to the situation and not the staff when I used the phrase "crock of shit."
It is nice to know that I'm not missing much. Since I've never been on the RO board, I was expecting a plethora of inside information. Maybe my expectations were too high.
What kind of "inside information" do you really expect to be privy to once you gain access to the RO board?
