Thank you for making me think 'outside the box' 
until TER gives more HTML color options.
Until they do that (provide other font colors for their link), ...
It would look crummy, but put a box around the link and fill in the background with a more contrasty color? (Yeah, ugly rectangle on an otherwise smooth black background ...).
How about redefining a font for the single page with the link. "Let all purple fonts = white fonts." Or is this using TER's actual fonts?

Hi TER!
The color of the font is purple, which does not show on my website's black background. Would you please consider offering a few other color options...especially a white one?!
