Since another site closed advertising for Alabama is utterly null! No one reads the eros ads, and there is not place on TER. I think by doing this we could attract some of the bama crowd from another board over here, and the local gals would get more business thus more reviews and members for TER. Just a thought!

I'm not in "Bama"....
But I understand the plea for a Board closer to where you may may reside or want to play.

Other than a very few states with such a large demographic that would need a double board, I'm all in favor of this TER site creating a regular (and advertising) Board for each state in the Union.

Why not?

My humble opinion, of course.

I like this idea however, the TN board is pretty dead as it is.  I was thinking why not combine TN, AL, and a couple of other neighboring states into one regional board.  Then continue this process until all the areas on the "Other Cities" board have been moved onto their own regional boards?

London has a good point, there is less advertising competition in some areas since e dot com went away.

Better to have that than more dead boards.

So now I will jump on your bandwagon. Other examples of areas that could be combined: Seattle and Portland are both pretty lifeless boards. They could possibly be combined into a Northwest board, then add in Idaho and maybe Montana (both who don't have boards) Kansas and Missouri could be combined. Kansas board is dead and Missouri is a heartbeat away from death. I think the idea might help some existing areas as well as serve some of the areas now covered under "other cities."
Unfortunately for my home area of Hawaii, i don't think there is enough activity to support it's own board, but it would also be hard to combine it within a region, as there are no close regions.

@ Fallon

Let's face it...when e.com closed Bama took a huge hit. I used to be able to pull in some serious money there and now we are limited to freaking backpage! TN is another place that took a hit, and it would be great to get the crowd for you know where to come here. More posters, more memberships, more money for everyone!

Yep, if my email goes quiet, I can go straight to BP and my ad is down!  Sad!

It's so nice of you to think of your friends in need. Maybe that's why I like you.
