He can turn it down and he should. He doesn't need the money because Duke has made sure he's set financially for life. Why would he want to leave one of the top 5 programs in the country and walk into the train wreck at New Jersey?

There comes a point when you can no longer say "it's not about the money," and that point may be 12 to 15 million a year, the amount that the Russian billionaire reportedly plans to offer Coach K to coach the Nets.

      I mean he could leave Duke for 2 years -collect $30 million, and then return to Duke. If Duke wins tonight as expected that would be the perfect time to leave with 4 championships.

       It could happen.

No way, Coach K is at home at Duke and very happy. Money ain't everything and he has plenty ;)
