Similar to what Kovalchuk always does and is doing right now in NJ. The Russian style of play seems to implode in NHL playoff hockey. And look what those two did in the Olympics.

Excellent series against the Senators. Both teams left it all on the ice. King Felix came up big in games 6 and 7. Great to the see the Rangers win a playoff series. They haven't won too many over the past 10-15 years.
Capitals will be another huge challenge in round 2. Then, if they are fortunate enough to survive that one, either NJ or Philly awaits...and all this just to get to the Cup, let alone win it. There are no playoffs like hockey. It is simply beyond grueling. If you can win the Cup you will have indeed earned it!

However, when they play their speedy, hard forechecking game they can stifle the Caps. Rangers play best below the offensive hashes and if they can keep the puck low they can dominate.
Throw in the fact that they have the better goaltender, a young star in the making in Kreider and a lunatic coach who will not let them stray from his gameplan and they should be able to get past the Caps before meeting up with the Flyers. That will be the NHL's wet dream!
