Am I the only one who hates provider sites with automatic music? I may be at home or work checking out sites before I go out and all of the sudden there is loud music or a voice recording of the provider echoing through the office halls. I could turn off speakers before, but what a hassle. I don't choose a provider based on what selection of music she has decided on, so why do it?
I'm interested in if this bothers anyone else. I liken it to dancers who wear glitter or heavy perfumes.
It used to bother me, until I started turning off the sound on my computer when I check out the boards or provider sites.

Actually, between unwanted music and the front page flash presentations, I do believe that web pages have finally encroached on the utterly annoying level of tele-marketing.
I don't go to web pages for entertainment value, I go to web pages for specific information, so having to fight my way through flash, audio and pop-ups causes me to turn away and go elsewhere.

You hit the nail on the head. Although I know of provider sight or two that have decent music that isn't cranked up, it can be extremely embarrassing. If the lady want to provide a voice sample, that's fine, as long as it a seperate button so you will know what's coming.
