Iv'e been around this community many years in different capacities, the last 7 in San Diego.I know that prices on everything are going up, but it seems like the price of an hour with reasonably respected provider has gone through the roof. There's always going to be "Elite Women" that can command an Elite fee, but the trend Iv'e been witnessing lately, is that a large number of providers seem to see themselves as Elite, without the credentials of a woman of that status. On the recommendation of another TER member, I was directed to look at Humaniplex, glad I did. Iv'e been able to find high quality girls at very reasonable rates, just an idea if you're having a similar experience.
Before me the average across the nation was 500 for high rate offerings. I came in at 600 and since then that has become the norm. A search of national ad boards will verify that very few providers - perhaps a dozen who were highly active - were over 500 per hour.
Something I heard once:
If you're not getting enough bookings perhaps your rates need to be lowered and also if you find you're unable to maintain supply for the demand it may be time to raise your rates.
Worrying about provider rates is pointless and I suggest you enjoy the bookings you're making versus trying to pin a label on ladies charging more than you're open to paying as being "wannabe elite" with "inflated" rates. I raised my rates last winter from 600 to 700 and since have limited bookings for new friends to 2 hour minimum as I don't have time to see friends for less time than that. It's not about being elite. It's about what I consider my time worth and as my inquiries have been taking a lot of time from me I have decided to request additional compensation.
Side note on HX: a lot of ladies who are "elite" as you say in the donation are often found there with lower donation since they aren't listed there - you have to message for "rates and menu" on HX.
I’ve seen you, and consider you the best this profession has to offer. If I’m going to pay 700 an hour, the experience that you “Goldie”provide is what I’m looking for. I was just commenting on an observation, it wasn’t meant to be offensive. I just see a lot of girls wanting to change big rates and not give a service that matches that rate.
Thank God for HX. We all can't be high rollers.
None of us know what the true demand is and what the actual rates are.
At least on HX there can be some private price competition.
There I get very fair rates, not the artificial rack rates demanded here.
We have a very solid base of ladies who have maintained thier rates, some with perhaps a 20% increase. The inflation is the traveling ladies. They think we are weathy because its san diego. LoL. I dont complain, repeat regulars provide benifits.
That's why TER reviews are such an asset (no not a set of ass cheeks 😀) when it comes to determining if the provider is worth the price. Granted that each reviewer's experience will vary but at least you have some insight on how your experience may turn out. While not perfect, it is much better then no insight at all.
Sure enough. I was in Vegas recently, met one of LV's top 10 ladies at one of the hotel bars before we went upstairs. As I was settling up I happened to look down the bar and saw a guy, probably my age perhaps a bit older, sitting with a woman who clearly wasn't his daughter or his niece. So I said to my 'date', looks like pay for play down there, she took one look and said "yep".

It's all about supply and demand gentlemen. If the phones stop ringing the rates will go down. It's that simple, but not likely to happen. An old hobby site had an MO that was fairly effective in keeping rates reasonable but that's gone. The ladies hated it, one dissatisfied customer and BAM the word was out and nobody called her. We don't have that here and expect we never will. There are some local UTR ladies that are reasonable but with limited availability since they have many regs in their rotation. Cheers.
The good old MO section, it really is sorely missed. My main quibble is with the scoring disparity in reviews. As I mentioned in a different thread, I'd like to see 9s and 10s reserved for objectively beautiful women, despite acknowledging that beauty is the eye of the beholder. A 10 should be for a Victoria's Secret model and should rarely be awarded unless it is truly warranted. Let's face it, a soccer mom is not a model, and probably shouldn't get higher than a 7 or 8, but there are countless examples in the review section.
There are plenty of options to burn your cash. And these threads about rates pop up regularly. I do occasionally wonder how many hobbyists bury themselves financially in pursuit of pussy. I know one guy from here on TER that told me he'd spent 100K on the hobby over the years.

I dabbled in the sugar world when I went through a period where I wanted more dependability and the illusion of a fwb type relationship. What I found was 1) civvie sugar ladies who were no great shakes had watched too much reality tv and though they were related to the Kardashians with expectations to boot 2) The cost was too high for the value received 3) the sex was way poorer 4) some sugar babes thought they could get paid to act as if we were in a relationship with all the head trips and drama to boot. I am now happily back in the hobbying world.
Wasn't it Charlie Sheen who said, "I don't pay them to stay I pay them to leave" ? The closest I came to a sugar type relationship was with a lady who used to tour San Diego regularly. Saw her virtually every time she toured for probably three years, took her on a number of trips to different cities, even traveled to cities she was touring a time or two. All that said, if the s*x hadn't been great, no way would I have kept seeing her.

Prices are high because the economy is booming, everyone has jobs, and things are good for most. Prices were about the same in 2005-2008 before the financial crisis. They came way down during the crisis. Now they have gone up again. Usually, if you have seen a provider for awhile she will keep her rates the same for long term clients.
Then, there is Tijuana. Gorgeous girls at 1/3 what you pay in San Diego. More hassle crossing the border than it used to be, but worth the trip if you are on a budget and have the time.
