This board.. Is extremely tense. I'm going to give my opinion, or rant mehehehe .

Guys, I don't post here much because I haven't gotten the chance to.
The general discussion board is usually really fun and has too much to talk about to browse other boards. But recently I found myself here.

You gotta get your shit together and be friendly because, it affects yhe way other people perceive you.

First id like to say: hookers aren't on this board, we are providers, none of us I hope are walking the street hooking. We don't come to you and ask you what you want, you come to us. Be a little more respectful and courteous.

Hobbyists. We all have hobbies, so gentlemen sounds a bit better too, than hobbyists or clients. We are all hobbyists, that never made much sense to me.

Guys if you actually post something that allows the girls to communicate and contribute, it will be a lot easier for these girls to not be afraid to talk. (Something not degrading or shaming towards them)

Girls: if you post stuff on here to contribute and actually start changing the environment: it would be easier for the guys to grow up a little too. It's not a one way street.

I'm here to be entertained, when we all have entertainment, it's easier for people to make connections. I've met guys simply by being myself and chatting on the general board.

The guys are sweet and the girls sweeter. Can we grow up a little and get our shit together and be nice to each other in fucking sunny San diego? Cus seriously you sound like you have a stick up your ass instead of being happy and awesome! You live in the best city in the world. I'm from New York, always will be but I'm happy as a kite being here, I'd like to feel that vibe too.

I whole-heartedly agree with you!
I've been sitting here "on the sidelines" reading & observing, trying to figure out how to respond to all of this negativity that's been pervading this board as of late.
However, I didn't want to add to all of the venomous commentary.

Recently, this board has become a microcosmic reflection of what social media has devolved into. For the most part, they're a group of people who spew their negativity as they hide behind the veil of their anonymity.
[Yes, I admit to using an alias. However, I do so to protect my privacy & that of my loved ones.]

I joined this forum because people here used to be friendly & helpful. I really hope that, in the future, this board will return to having the attitude of being cordial & respectful towards others.

Who else misses the days of Madam Patricia?

I'm in full agreement with what you say. Look back three or four years ago and you'll find some useful discussions, with plenty of ladies voicing their opinions, disagreement, as well as offering interesting information to direct potential clients - and not just to themselves. There were some spectacular arguments too, but for whatever reason, things never got venomous, manipulative or degrading. And no, it wasn't a touchy feelie mutual affirmation club either. The comments were real and relevant, not self aggrandizing.
And finally, I've never quite seen the need for aliases or multiple handles. But clearly some do, given the present climate. The good news is with the increased toxicity, I've turned to reading more reviews and found that a far more profitable use of my time.

MP was.something of a permanent fixture here for a long time. She could rub people up the wrong way, but she also had some valid opinions too. However in all that I never found her vindictive or spiteful. She reminds me of happier times in this board when female contributions were more candid and male contributions far more interesting

Well Said Naomi! You are very articulate and well spoken. Can't we all just get along here? I seem to remember a lot more friendly banter, and truthful helpfulness when questions were brought up on here a few years ago when I was on this board. No need for the venom that seems to spew too very often.
