While surfing bp for companionship, I sent a txt to this number (858 - Katelyn) and received an immediate reply:
Your number has been recorded and available for police to follow up. Arrests have been made. Cooperation will be noted. They they sent a message that many of the girls in prostitution are minors. After responding I did not want a prostitute, they sent addition 'information'. They only reply when I sent a txt, so I stopped. I also sent a txt to the 619 # (Destiny) and received an immediate reply "your number was already recorded" and then the additional info message as well. Shame on my for hitting up bp! My husband had this happen once. There was a scam out there that had people’s names, numbers, and links to social media on there “exposing them” as “johns” they ask for a $5000 fee for removal. It’s extortion at its best, eventually the site was taken down. Someone had a lot of time on there hands to turn a number into all that info... My advice is to use a text app that generates your number that you can erase at anytime.
