Won't be attending in 2018.  

The best part of going was NOT the conference.  The actual conference is a snore, unless you like waiting in long lines with PL's who watch WAY too much porn and never actually fuck real women, paying $20 for an 8x10 of various porn stars that you will probably put in a drawer when you get home, and looking at sex toys you can buy online.  Don't get me wrong - I like and watch porn.  But I like having real sex more. And I won't be posting my autographed 8x10 of Kimberly Chi on my desk at work. But I REALLY wish she was a provider - I'd be a weekly regular.  

The really good part was scheduling private sessions with stars who provide. And for that you can book a room at another hotel and just fuck your dick off. Many of the providers actually prefer not to meet at the HRH as they don't want to expose that part of their "career" to their AVN colleagues.  Save your AVN ticket money and use it to mingle at the bars around he HRH during the conference.  You can meet a lot of the starts there. Buy them a drink, just like any hot chick in a bar, be polite, and not obsessed with their career (you are NOT her favorite fan, because that's creepy) and see what happens.  

Hint: There is a Red Roof Inn across the street from the HR. Even with the HRH/AVN discount, these rooms are generally cheaper.  

As to actually wins the "Best Outdoor Interracial Triple Penetration Scene With Midgets" award, do you really care?

This year ill be staying there whats the sense to go to the show when they will be all around I agree.

When i went i stayed at the Hard Rock and trust me it's worth it !

I booked a cheap room and was easily able to upgrade on arrival to a nice suite in the new wing

The reason why it's worth staying at the hard rock is you do see a lot of porn stars walking around (to and from their rooms etc) and they are approachable and you can ask them the possibility of privates

I had a positive response about privates from many porn stars. I believe it is much much harder to broach the subject at the expo when there are heaps of other people around.  And don't believe the rubbish that you have to be in the business/the scene/a poncey poser etc to tee up privates with porn stars at the AVN. Just be friendly, natural and 'real'.

There isn't the same money on porn for most porn stars because there is way more dilution, it's not like when there were a dozen or so top names who worked for the top studios. Now anyone can make and distribute porn. Look at one of the most popular series, girlsdoporn, it's all amateurs !

So porn stars at the AVN are more than happy to earn some dollars doing privates.
