The more extreme content producers often film their model releases, verbalizing what specific activities will be performed and getting the model's consent on film. Good cya protocol. Of course, with the magic of editing you can never be sure and I'm guessing that if something really went sideways, we'd never see it.

I have discussed this with a porn star that has shot several scenes with companies like kink.com and she says that although the scenes appear to be extremely rough and traumatic on the model, they are actually not.

Every specific act is discussed and agreed to by all models (male and female) prior to the shoot. Every model is given a "safe" word that can be used to full-stop all action. The producers and directors take significant effort to ensure the models, especially the female ones, are comfortable and treated with respect. What appears as "abusive" activities are artifacts of  movie magic, not actual abuse.

That does not mean there is no such thing as sexual (or any type of) harassment in the porn industry.  There is a high likelihood of that in any male-dominated power hierarchy, and porn is certainly that. Even if you fuck a stranger (or multiple strangers) for a living, you still have the right to withdraw consent (or refuse to give consent) at any time.

From my personal experience with RJ, he is a hairy little troll and I have never seen him NOT treating women (in the industry or not) like he was entitled to touch, abuse, fuck, or anything else he wants to them.
