...most trusted assistants.  The former NYPD cop started working for Trump in 1999 as a bodyguard/gorilla.  He rose to Trump's Director of Security in 2004.  When Trump won the election, he said "Fuck you" to the Secret Service, brought Schiller with him to the White House and made Schiller Director of Oval Office Operations.

Schiller, the brilliant ex-cop security genius, was walking around with a bunch of papers on the White House grounds.  On top of the papers was a sticky note  that said “Jim, Mad Dog, Mattis” and had a phone number.  A sharp-eyed reader of the Washington Post saw the note on a photo in the paper and called WaPo who blew up the photo, called the number and got the voicemail of Gen. Mattis, who was probably a mad dog when he found out how careless Trump's "security" dick was.
