Deputy Dumbshit mistakes tripod and camera for a gun, shoots WITHOUT WARNING...

...A newspaper photographer left his office at about 10 p.m. to take pictures of lightning when he came across a traffic stop and decided to take photos.  He got out of his car, parked under a light in plain view of the deputy, with a press pass around his neck.  He was setting up his camera when he was shot.  Trigger-happy Barney Fife did not give any warnings before he fired.

The victim is a known photographer in the community and has been working at the paper for years.  Meh, cops don't care - shoot first, ask questions later.  So what if an innocent person is killed.  Cops think their lives are more important.

...lump all law enforcement officers in with these few overly fearful idiots that shoot first & think second. I believe we may lose more innocent lives before these examples of mistaken fear can be weeded out or at least disarmed, but we need our police to be there because of all the other armed fools out there that threaten us.

Then they turn around and think all people of color or Muslims are the same themselves.
So the same should apply in both cases, but everyone knows that's not the case.
If cops don't want it done to them.
They should stop doing it themselves in most cases.
The hypocrisy in this country, is really crazy sometimes.

...circle the wagons and protect their own whenever they're charged with a bad shoot.  It's the Thin Blue Line Syndrome.  Cops have an "us against them" mentality - "them" means everyone who isn't a cop...honest citizens as well as criminals.  In their eyes, everyone is a potential "NCIC sluggo motherfucker."
