The idiocy and vitriol is not just on this board.

I see plenty of it on other sites.  These clowns, like their Great Leader, live in an alternate reality.

Even the GOP leadership is getting tired of the constant chaos that is the Trump administration.  We all see the news reports.  No links are necessary and I will not cater to the intentionally ignorant.  The frustration on both sides about Trumps total ineptitude is growing greater every day.

There are a lot of smart people posting on this board trying to support Trump.  But I believe they are just like most Republicans who are supporting a party platform and are willing to accept the inane audacity of their President in order to advance that platform.  But at some point even the staunchest of Trump supporters are going to have to realize that they are above all else Americans and will need to do the patriotic duty of getting the Trumps the hell out of Washington.  Even they can't possibly believe this train wreck is going to get better when by all accounts it only appears to get worse every damn day.

So what are you waiting for?

If that doesn't go down, then I am with you. Sorry though if I don't join the inside the beltway crowd and have a hissy every day about all things Trump. Again, for how I look at things, he is doing fine in many areas.

Now, if the Dems had any balls at all, if Trump really is the traitor so many of you claim, they would draw up articles of impeachment.

Let's put that before the American people and have that discussion. I can't wait.

What are the Dems waiting for?

They are in the minority.  But just you wait until after 2018.

Wouldn't it make sense that if Trump is really the drooling idiot that you all claim he is, guilty of treason, ineptitude, malfeasance, high crimes, misdemeanors and pussy grabbing, if all this is true why wouldn't the GOP join with the Dems and "for the good of the country" get rid of Trump and put Pence in his place in accordance with the Constitution?

Or is it possible that most of this is simply a lot of ado about nothing? A bunch of noise put out there by the MSM who loves to hate Trump and the Political Establishment who can't believe a political outsider is now in the country's most powerful office.

Like trump, but what they hate more is the thought of the Dems being right or the Dems getting their way. Republican put party above country. So Repub will tolerate all the nonsense for now. Congress just needs to get tax reform done, then trump will be on his own.

San Fran Gran also knows impeachment would go nowhere, not just in congress, but with the American people so that is why she threw cold water on the whole thing yesterday.

Did you notice Taffy dodged my "traitor" comment? lol. Typical.

If dodo Dems like Taffy really think Trump is a traitor and/or not fit for office, they should stand up and say so and bring the specific charges so we all can view them.

And Dems here should be ripping Dems in congress for not having the courage of their convictions. Is it possible Pelousy knows there isn't any proof to show the public? Hmmmmm...

Re: your 2018 comment, we will see. You guys are in the worse shape in 90 years so could it get much worse? lol

I was going to respond to jinxy but since he is no longer interested in specifics I’ll place it here.

Plus I know you don’t mind a few multi-syllabic words. His rejection of specifics is probably based on either 1) the recognition that the recent media hype regarding Trump’s stupidity or dishonesty is based on more fraud in print or 2) he and most of the Left are now relying entirely on basing opinion on nothing more than feelings. I’m going with #2. I’m actually beginning to believe some of these leaks aren’t leaks at all but just pure contrivances by the WashPo and NYT.

I’ve never been a supporter of Trump and there’s no denying many of his problems are typically very exacerbated and often created by his own actions. What’s missing from almost every conversation is any recognition that the Media and Left are doing their very best to inflame and distort almost every situation.

I’m reminded of the analogy where you recognize the single pilot of your plane has gone rogue but still flying the plane. The Left knows it’s not headed to the destination they paid for and instead of accepting a hopeful safe landing at an alternate location they would rather grab the yoke from the pilot’s hands. What’s their real motivation? Do they view themselves as Todd Beamer on Flight 93? Do they think their actions result in no harm or less harm than perceived from Trump’s corner? My support for Trump is the same support I have for that pilot or any pilot.  My present goal, that comes before hoping for a safe landing somewhere, is to hope the Left doesn’t crash the plane. And some are intentionally headed in that direction. The wacky Left have become a bigger threat to national security than Trump.

Someone must have adjusted Pelosi’s meds.

You want specifics? You think WaPo and the NYT's are the problem, not Trump? I guess we'll see after the dust settles from the subpoena's of Comey's memo, the transcripts of Trump's meeting in the Oval office with the Russians, and the tapes he supposedly has of his meeting with Comey! ;)

Regarding leaks that the FBI was trying to get more money from the Whitehouse for the investigation,

Or how the Deputy AG threatened to resign over Trump's pressure to create the Comey termination letter.

I never said Trump wasn't a problem. If you read what I wrote I said exactly the opposite. I also said LAST YEAR Trump was going to be a problem. I have ZERO problem admitting the truth.

What no one here and hardly any on the Left are able to admit is how they are illicitly complicit in spreading lies about Trump. Some are even encouraging the revelation of national security secrets to hasten Trump's demise. Like I said, grabbing the yoke.

First off where did I say I wasn't interested in specifics?  I said I wasn't providing links and wasn't going to cater to the intentionally ignorant.  Trying to state each specific instance of Trumps insanity would take up countless pages of this board.

Second, your analogy sounds suspiciously like one Ann Coulter used yesterday when she was expressing her frustration and disillusionment of Trump.  She said basically that everybody jumped on a plane flown by Trump from Chicago to Los Angeles but found out he's really going to New York.  Did you plagiarize that?

Your criticism of the left is absurdly incorrect and is obviously just more insult bait.  If anything, the left is being too nice and too civil.   Pelosi  just said the calls for impeachment are not yet ripe.  I think that's the case essentially because the facts are being purposely obscured by Trump and the GOP is going along with it to advance their agenda.  Pelosi should have said that but didn't.

My point is that behavior on both sides of the aisle has gone on too long.

I looked up Coulter's statement. 1) Her analogy involved driving a car or bus or some other ground vehicle and the important point she was making was the time she was allowing Trump (measured in days) to make course corrections not crash a plane; 2) I prefaced my remark with the attribution (however vague)  "I remember the analogy", but sure, go ahead and focus on your feeble attempt to impeach me which indicates you ARE just like the Media and you are NOT interested in what specifics I was attempting to put forward. You'd rather I go away rather than deal with it by simply issuing the quite "specific" yet totally non-prolific retort of I'm "absurdly incorrect". Well, at least we both better understand each other now, sort of.

All I implied and agreed with Jack that Pelosi has chilled out a bit. I would think that for someone such as yourself that believes "that behavior on both sides of the aisle has gone on too long" would appreciated the move on her part, but I guess not.

Tax cut? Not this year. Maybe not in 2018 either, but that doesn't matter. The Trump TRADE is over. It was over 6 weeks after the election. Look at your brokerage account. Nice isn't it? With Russia, North Korea, Syria, Impeachment talk, you'd think the market would pull back. The market doesn't care about all this geopolitical shit.

Jack, don't worry about a tax cut. The market is reacting to really good earnings and low interest rates. Enjoy the ride. Don't worry about the libs saying you don't care about the environment, education, or the less fortunate. They always say that no matter how much you pay in taxes. What did Ben Affleck say in the movie The Boiler Room? "They say money can't buy happiness, well look at the smile on my fucking face".

There won't be any health care reform Jack. Repeal/Replace, I would've gone for just a repeal. No need to replace shit with more shit. There won't be any individual tax cuts. Maybe, just maybe we could get a corporate tax cut and a repatriation deal, but it might be a long shot.

Shhh, many on Wall Street are even saying that a Trump departure could give the market a quick 3 % - 5% bump. Are you willing to throw Trump under the bus for another 5% gain?

And I am going to have to disagree about the tax cut regarding stocks Croix. Part of the big run up is due in fact to his tax reform ideas. The markets, as I am sure you know, have factored one in. If they don't get it, stocks will tank.

Now, how big or small is yet to be determined, but the tax cut is coming for individuals and corporations and it will come this year, maybe early next, but it will happen.

There is nothing on the docket to stop it and this time Ryan was smart enough to have everyone on board and  all groups represented in the meetings as opposed to how they handled Ocare R&R.

Again, if  an all R congress with an R president cant even cut taxes, what good are they to me? Shit, I can vote Democratic and get the same result.

I agree with you on several points. there will be no significant health care "reform", Any repeal and replacement won't end up with any kind of real "reform" I will be happy just to get rid of the mandate as a starting point. The rest of this won't be fixed for several more years, if at all.

I don't see any meaningful tax reform either, but a corporate tax cut and/or a repatriation deal would be huge positives and quite honestly about all I really dared hoped for in Trumps first year. I've said all along if we get NONE of what Hillary wanted and even a little bit of what Trump wants, I will be a happy camper.

I have no real expectations of a personal tax cut, and I didn't vote for Trump with the hopes of getting one, except to the extent that the repeal of ObamaCare will serve to reduce my tax liability significantly. It seems to have gone right over the heads of most people that under Obama, Cap Gains taxes have gone from 15% to a whopping 23.8% an increase of over 50%.

That was part of a compelling analysis I read the other day. The person ( can't remember where I read it) said that the Republicans are trying to get as much of their agenda (tax reform, ACA repeal and replace, and reducing governmental regulations on business) through Congress, all the while giving Trump enough rope to hang himself. He said the Republicans will be there, when the time comes, to kick the stool out from under him! ;)

but if he can get all that through his Presidency will be considered such a success there won't be any way the Establishment will be able to get rid of him.

Why is ANYBODY surprised the GOP has no loyalty to Trump? he has NEVER been a real Republican, that was always part of his appeal to many.

i haven't had this much fun since our kindergarten class went to the circus..
