Trump continues to make his supporters look like fools!

...Those funds should be sent directly to consumers in the form of credits toward their insurance payments.

Where do you think the funds are coming from? The imaginary money tree 🌲

...No those funds have been allocated by congress for the purpose of lowering health insurance costs so there is nothing (imaginary) about their source, I believe that that they would be better used by healthcare consumers in the form of premium payment credits rather than giving the cash directly to the insurance companies. Donald Trump wants to hold up those funds in his incessant attempts to repeal the current healthcare law.

In fact, Congress sued Obama for exactly that reason.  The legal issue has yet to be resolved.

...Thanx Jake I thought they were part of the legislation, it's still wrong for Trump to hold these funds hostage just to cut off health insurance to thousands who otherwise can not afford to buy policies.

But while the ACA did authorize the payments it never provided a mechanism to appropriate the money.  Obama did some executive orders and Congress sued because it said they violated its "power of the purse."  That had yet to be fully adjudicated.
And just today, Senators Alexander (R) and Murray (D) put forth a proposal to restore the funding for two years, presuming new legislation will solve the underlying problem.

in executive power. Same with DACA. Interestingly enough, apparently Trump encouraged Sanders to reach an agreement with Murray. I would of have waited until after the Midterm elections to deal with Healthcare when there is more friendlies in the Senate.
