Trump's schmoozing
Could Trump be looking for a little insurance, you know like in black jack? Could Trump be schmoozing with democrats because Mueller is getting closer and closer to nailing Trump's coffin shut?
As it stands, republicans are not very united. Could Trump be thinking, he needs to do just enough to show democrats he would be better for them than Pence? With the fractured state of the republican party, could Trump be thinking a few dems on his side, may tip the scales in his favor, during impeachment proceedings?
Obviously, Trump is not very bright, but could he have stumbled upon something, here?
I think Trump is trying to work with the Democrats because the Republican leadership has shown itself to be incapable of passing any legislation. Trump actually doesn't care what's IN the legislation, he just wants a win. Schumer and Pelosi, joined by enough middle-of-the-road Republicans can give him that.
