Around here, we usually hear this from a righty saying it to a lefty. However, this chaplain encapsulates the problem many Christians have with our government. Balancing out what they believe is God's law, vs. the laws of the land. I say, if you don't like the law of the land, get out! Many Christians, and Pence is one of them, want to make the USA a theocracy, where God's law, in their view, lines up with, the law of the land. There has been evidence, at the Air Force Academy, and within the Trump administration, that such a movement has left the church building, and entered Federal government institutions in new and more forceful ways.
