the way of the dodo bird, I've have enough coin to buy a share of BAC.

2-3 years ago we were hearing how guys like you and me were shivering in our boots over the prospects of "a black man being in charge".

Before then it was daily dread about the Bush/Cheney Crime family...should I go on?

Besides, are you REALLY expecting intelligent discourse from someone named Needledick?

It has no relevance and certainly no humor.

city, county, state, federal ranks are filled with people like this.

i know you love to bag on the Catholic Church.

Give a little love to the molestors, harrassers, and whackoffs on public payroll and pensions too!:D

The Police Officer is jerking off while on the clock. Who pays the PO's salary, the tax payer.

I have to assume you watched the video, otherwise you'd be talking out of your ass commenting on it's relvance. right?

I can understand why willy would find that union police officers are found guilty of beating off on duty, illegally using police databases (most likely to stalk women), stalking and harrassing women on duty, YET not missing any pay and being able to collect retirement from the taxpayers. This is willy's big government nirvana.

But I am a bit puzzled over how you consider yourself conservative and NOT find these issues relevant.

Or maybe, just maybe, you did'nt watch the WHOLE video and just shot off  a kneejerk critique....that makes the most sense.

My points are these:

1) It is about police misconduct and not about politics or religion (the discussion areas of our board)

and

2) There is nothing in the video to warrant a "lol!".  The subject matter is far from funny.

has acted as a predator under the color of authority isn't political is beyond me.

The LOL! is my reaction to this dude being caught on tape talking about "areolos".

That's my sense of humor. You may not agree with it but that should'nt stop me from expressing it, should it? Or should I run all my OP's thru you for approval?

I'm done reading them.

This board is going the way of the buffalo . . . . .

Won't be too long and it will be the ghost town that many of the other TER discussion boards have become.  Very little, if any, legitimate on-topic posts worthy of intelligent, thoughtful conversation.

It's really a shame because two or three years ago this was one of the better boards on the net.

And it is true that we have lost some of the better posters who were always worth reading like JohnGalt, Goodtimingman, Xia (yes if you didn't get hung up on his bias he exposed us to issues and events we would never have heard otherwise), and GaGambler.

At the same time with the new regime, there has been a substantial  decrease in the pure insult posts. This killed my interest in the board far more than quality of discussion issues.

So I think it is cyclical. And the best way to deal this problem is not to lament the paucity of intelligent posts but to venture forward with more thought-provoking posts yourself.

I think everyone on the Board regards you as the Dean of Political Commentary so why not weigh in with your view of whether Mr. Romney really does have a chance of winning the election if the economy continues to falter.

And yes, cranky may be a good word to describe my feelings of late.  Cranky after seeing all the mudslinging back and forth between both the Presidential candidates and the liberal and conservative loons on this board.

While I still think that President Obama has no one to blame but himself if he fails to get re-elected -- and still feel that he will win by taking the majority of the swing states -- I do see a way in which Romney can win.

Of course, it will mean that A) Obama will have to make more "Romney-esque" statements like he did on Friday ("The private sector is doing fine") and B) Romney will need to keep his mouth shut as often as possible.

Romney will get the usual big bounce from his convention but Obama gets the last at-bat and will ride a big wave of popularity after dazzling the world again with a great and theatric speech in the football stadium in Charlotte.

Romney has the door to victory slightly ajar but will have to hit on all cylinders to open it any further.

And maybe I'll finally start hitting the ball straight again, avoid the dreaded three-putt greens and get laid once in while.  Best way to alleviate crankiness.

I truly enjoy hearing about stories like these for exactly the same reason I enjoyed watching Beavis and Butthead cartoons.  After watching either your video, the cartoon series or the example I'm linking to, it seems obvious that no matter what may happen or befall these people throughout their future lives, they will always be complete, utter idiots having no capacity for growth or change.

For some reason, I find that rather satisfying.
