Maybe it's as simple as the fact that Trump is insane. He once called Flynn at 3:00 am to ask whether a strong dollar is good. Flynn said: "WTF dude, I'm a general. I know about counterintelligence. I don't fucking know about a strong dollar. Go ask a fucking economist."
