Evangelical's is too broad a brush. There are plenty of Evangelicals who are not Trumpets. However, I'd bet the vast majority of Fundamentalists are. Who else are Fundamentalists? Radical Islamist's.

They use just the particular passages of the Bible to justify their beliefs, rather than abide by what the Bible, particularly the New Testament, teaches. They also fall back on the idea of redemption. Trump had several quake pastors speak to his redemption, during his candidacy. That permitted the Christian Republicans to vote for him in clear conscience. Of course, nearly everyone knew that was pure bs. In the end, it's all about 'right to life' and protecting religious freedom, even if it means making a deal with the devil.
