There has been dispute whether the 20% increase in national homicide rates since the Ferguson Riots is due to BLM, the 'Ferguson Effect'. Here are data on the two worst cities, Chicago and Baltimore. They had distinct drops in police actions (stops, arrests, shootings) that track with spikes in Black on Black homicide and violent crime in those cities. Those changes date to BLM associated activity.
In Chicago video of Laquan McDonald, the Obama DOJ investigation of CPD, an ACLU agreement on stops, and new state law on stops all coincided in Dec 2015. In Jan 2016 police stops plummeted to 1/6 their former level, and there followed 58% more homicides and 43% more non-fatal shootings in 2016. In Baltimore, the Freddie Gray riots and charging of 6 police officers in April 2015 are followed by an immediate change in policing. Sharp drop in arrests, stops, complaints against police, and police shootings. Homicide is 132% of pre riot averages. In 2011, 197 were murdered in Baltimore. In 2016, 344, a 74% jump. In Baltimore over 90 percent of the murderers and murder victims are black. Effective policing will disproportionately affect blacks, and bad policing will, too. the latest 2016 stats are: Black on Black % of total black homicide = 89.3% white on white % total = 81.3%
So, blacks kill 8% more of their total versus whites for theirs. That is significant. But the important stat is the Black Total is much higher, so black on black homicides are MUCH higher than all others.
The total for black on black homicide is almost exactly the same as that for white on white, though there are 5 times as many whites. B-B= 2,380 vs W-W = 2,574 deaths. Blacks, with their small population size, should have only 500 black on black homicides if their rate was the same as white's.
Black on Black crime is talked about more, and the term was coined, because blacks victimize each other at VERY high rates compared to all other groups (as well as victimizing other groups are higher rates too).

If it is a fact, which OP demonstrates it is... that the BLM theory that, roughly, "police are the problem" and roughly, "less aggressive policing is the answer" results in many more black people dead, what is wrong with noting that?
Is it better to continue with policies that sound good and flatter the pride of some people, despite being founded on bad data and resulting in massive unintended consequences? Good intentions and feel good chants don't save lives, and can end up taking them.
It is possible for policing to have problems, and some individual blacks, brown, whites and yellows to be wrongly killed by police, AND for the BLM / Obama approach to be wrong.

If the claim is "Blacks are the Only Ones Who Commit Violent Crime" pictures of 6 white murderers would refute the claim. Nobody made that claim.
If the claim is "Blacks Commit Violent Crime at a Far Higher Rate than Other Groups, and the Primary Victims are Other Blacks" showing there are 6 white murderers is retarded. To refute that statistical claim, you would need to show that blacks, a group 1/5 as numerous, had only 1 such murderer, ever, and therefore were merely equally as dangerous as whites.

right. They whole thing is fucked up. Nowadays, especially in poor communities like inner Baltimore and Chicago, police are viewed as the bad guys. And it's simply not true. Most cops are down to earth and just want to do their job and go home (white cops, black cops, and everyone in between). The MSM and liberals jump all over the bad cops and paint the picture that all cops are bad and racist while masking the real problem.
The real problem is family structure in inner Baltimore and Chicago. Nobody gets married there and raises there children together. Free stuff promised by the democrats that stifles work ethic and personal responsibility isn't helping the problem either.
