Great news for the GOP. The CBO says the Senate bill is "less mean" than the House's bill.

But only by a bit.  Under the Senate bill, 22 million will lose their health coverage compared to 23 million under the House bill.  Donnie must be overjoyed.

That under Obamacare many millions who did not want to buy health coverage were forced to do so. Some paid the tax but many millions purchased coverage against their will. Therefore under the new bill they will not be required to  buy health coverage and they are among those who are falsely said to lose it.

You’re welcome

You would think a publication as vaunted as the NY Slimes would at least mention the CBO has a horrendously bad track record of predicting these type of things.

By leaving out the fact that the CBO was off by a staggering 120% when it came to Obamacare enrollment, the Slimes gives the reader the impression they are a competent and trustworthy source.

In addition, this is typical "GIGO." Garbage in, garbage out. This is just one part of R healthcare reform. The numbers CBO are using do NOT include any tort reform, purchasing across state lines, added competition, etc etc etc.

CBO can't consider any separate legislation that would include the above, which would certainly lower premiums and give more incentive for people to purchase insurance thus lowering the number of projected uninsureds.

That is good news man for those 22 million people.   Now they can walk in to any hospital ER and get free treatment including surgery and free RX.   I have seen it personally happen at the Florida Hospital in Tampa.    It is in a poor and lowest middle class neighborhood (all races except Asians).    The people frequently visit the hospital ER, each time giving a different name, different address, no ID or DL and of course no insurance.    Hospitals are under legal obligation to treat these people without asking any money.     If the new health care law makes it worse, so be it who cares.    Someone is already paying for it, people with health insurance.    When hospitals negotiate their terms with insurance companies every year, their prices go up and so do premiums, deductibles and copays.    This is just one hospital I am familiar with and there are thousands of hospitals across the country in similar situations.

This is neither a righty or lefty issue or conservative or liberal issue.

This is so similar to uninsured drivers causing accidents and walking away without paying a nickel.    Yours and my insurance premiums go up when insurance companies compute their annual premiums to claims ratio.   They want to maintain their profits, so you and me pay more.

I am least bothered as I have my employer provided comprehensive health insurance that covers practically everything there is that needs to be covered.

i guess that means it will hurt as much when they shove to in as compared to when they pull it out..

mean people. Perhaps he needs a safe space.

The good news is that the CBO estimated a deficit reduction in the tune of 321 billion over ten years. Not bad.

So mean I enjoy tearing you a new one every time you pop up your ignorant head.  Funny that you'd seize on the "mean" part since it was your Lord and Master who was the one to coin that description of the House bill.  Please try to do better next time.  You could hardly do worse.

Yes. Like the F-35 fighter jets that Trump recently negotiated a discount from Lockheed Martin.
